The school clinic just refused my admittance, since I had already been "referred out" to a neurologist regarding the great month-long-headache. Couple more weeks left of the semester.. and my mind is already crouched in the corner, packed to go. Ho-hum.

hey, i had one of those migraines before! i didn't know that's what they were called, though. i thought it was just the "aura" that people talk about before getting an "actual" migraine - because about half an hour after i saw the little lights and had the tinglies, i was in the worst pain ever and didn't leave my bed for about three hours. you didn't have any pain from it, though?

this is a little different; since i've had a painful migraine before, i don't think this is a migraine, although i suppose it could be. it's not a sinus headache, because it doesn't hurt in my sinuses (woo, deduction!) and i was even taking advil cold & sinus pills for a while in hopes of getting rid of it.

yea.. stress. i'm thinking stress. just because it's an annoying brain-like pressure, and the actual pain portion is inconsistent and in different parts of my head. i don't know how to explain the fainting (my blood pressure is a-ok and i am eating a lot), but it could just be a new reaction to hot water.. since both times i've passed out were in the shower.

perhaps things just fall apart after 20! awesome.

Yeah no pain, just ocassional numbness. Once my whole head went numb after staying up all night to finish a paper. I actually passed out in class because I was afraid it was something like an aneurysm. Oh hypochondria, you scoundrel...

I'm turning 27 soon but I feel like I'm in my 40s, damn generic back problems and fair skin keeping me cloistered from the sun. At least you're being proactive about your health. I passed out from a hot shower when I was younger, so you're probably right about the cause.
