i keep finding stuff that is REALLY cool but that i definitely don't have a use for.
if you give me your mailing address, i make no promises, but i might send you one of these really cool things that i have no use for.

the daily resolutions i've committed to so far are going great. i can't believe what a difference it makes in my day to feel like i'm chipping away at the things that are important to me. simple things like prioritizing my family, de-cluttering my home, and writing a daily list of 5 things i am grateful for.

i was reading this blog post and it really spoke to me.
We often claim that our priorities are grandly important activities like spending time with family or exercising or carving out enough alone time to work on that big passion project we’ve been putting off. But unless you’re actually putting these pursuits first, unless you make these undertakings part of your everyday routine, they are not your actual priorities.

so, in effect, i'm making these undertakings part of my everyday routine. and i feel more fulfilled. [occasionally slightly stressed about making them fit in, but i always pull it off somehow]

plus, i'm one book and two movies in for fifty fifty, on schedule! ("A Hologram for the King" Dave Eggers was the book; "Metropolitan" and "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring again" were the movies) -- right on schedule!

you can't take it with you, resolution, thoughts, fiftyfiftyme
