it's four a.m. (or "roar. roar. roar. roar?" if you follow
the dinosaur clock)
it's still sunday for me, though technically monday. i can't tell if i can't sleep because of the coffee i had earlier or because of the 11 hour marathon spent in front of my computer coding all the new
stuff in my shop!
this week is either off to an awesome start or a horrible one. don't worry, i will report back to verify.
i am ridiculously excited about
this!!!
being the paper and letter-writing fanatic that i am, it has always been a dream of mine to make my own *real* stationery. and not the kind i made on my own inkjet printer or have to cut out by hand (as i have for many years), and not business collateral. i'm talking full-color, where-did-you-find-this, coveted-in-japan, i-love-that-this-exists stationery.
once, while in high school or maybe college, i emailed a publisher to ask them where and how they print their letter sets, being curious and not knowing where else to look. they replied with one mysterious and probably purposefully unhelpful word: "china"
i have to say, probably a full decade later & all this experience behind me, yet stationery / letter writing paper is not really any less an enigma.
but look!!
!!!!
so excited!!!
and now it is 4 and 2/3 roars.
