i'm going to force myself to update this here blog more. and maybe force myself to do illustration friday more too:

i'm still at home with ice on the knee, but it's getting better. feels best when i'm lying down, so in between intense work sessions, i've been lying down with a copy of 'the mysterious benedict society' - which feels sort of like the 'westing game', which i just re-read as well. carson ellis's illustrations throughout the book just take my breath away.
