BIRD CALL
i had this great idea the other day (or not so great, maybe) to make a little wheel-of-fortune type wheel that says stuff like "rant", "rave", "photo", "artwork", "bizarre anecdote", etc. that i could spin when i update my blog to guide my entry for the day. because sometimes i am like 'oh, i should update my livejournal' but then i feel like i have nothing to say, and i often feel like i should keep my works in progress a mystery!
my wrist is officially fucked up again. that's probably because i've been doing an insane amount of painting for my show at GR2 in los angeles (opening this NOVEMBER 11th!!! please visit!!) i'm aspiring to have about 150 paintings, mini and not-quite-as-mini. as always, i'm spending a lot of time on my color palette.

i think i'm decided on the title "BIRD CALL" for my solo show; what do you think? it was between that, or something to do with nests or nestlings.
