One very late drabble submission
I hope this is still appropriate, since this challenge was issued back in June or something? lol Maybe this will kick-start the community again? :)
"Airport Challenge"

Count: 100 words! whew!
Side note: While I have written lots of slash over the years, I have never, ever, written a drabble. Now I know why. lol *head-desk* Jeez...it is a lot harder than it looks. I give MAJOR props to anyone who can do this. I had 232 words at first count and thought, "No way can I cut this without it sucking!" Arg! lol Well...not sure on the suckage part, probably does, but it 'is' 100 words.
Now on with the drabble:

One last airport for now. One more tour - finished. He sighed. Tired and lonely, he wished someone had missed him, was waiting for him. Someone he could call his own...like...
But no.
His mind replayed their last time together. A flash of movement caught his eye. His heart pounded.
Rounding the glass partition, he froze.
"Wh-what are you doing here?"
Dark eyes smiled at him. "I uh...I knew you were coming back today. Just wanted to say...I missed you, Nick."
Tears stung his eyes as those words sank in. Then he smiled.
"C'mon, Aaron. Let's go home."

To the Owner/Mod: Could we have something a little sexier for the next challenge? Such as, I don't know...'Toe Ring' or 'Belly Button' or maybe 'Black, Blue, Purple or Red Nail Polish'? 'Ripped T-Shirt' or 'Jeans'? 'Wet Skin'? Just a thought. My mind is always in the gutter. lol ;D ~Vel~
