[Aidan's tired. Tired and drained. It has been a long night. Such a long night that it's now technically morning. Somewhere in the vicinity of 1 AM.
He's been at the station with Grace all night and he feels terrible. He actually feels a lot of things; confusion, disappointment, anger, and yes guilt. He's still trying to process this life that Grace has been hiding from him for a year, and in the meantime he had to watch someone questioning her for murder. He and Wally weren't allowed in the room for obvious reasons.
Thankfully there was a lot more paperwork and waiting than intense questioning, and in the end he was able to take her home. Wally had been pissed off at Aidan and just walked away, but that was something he'd deal with the next day.
He leads Grace into his apartment and drops his keys on the kitchen counter as he opens the fridge for a beer. He hadn't said a word since the left the station, but now he grabs a second beer and turns to hand it to her, finally meeting her eyes.]
