Religion Blows!

Okay, so Sharnz brings this guy around to Nexus tonight. And he's a relgious guy, which I have no problem with. We were discussing religion and simply all I said was "So me being gay, I can't be a christian?" Sharna didn't know what to say, and this is how the big issue started.
Me: So, me being gay, I can't be a christian?
Sharna: I'm not sure ask Andrew
Andrew: Huh?
Sharna: Cody just said cause he's gay he can't be a christian?
Andrew: Well it's evil, so no.
At this point my heart nearly fucking jumped out of my chest from all the blood running through my system at such a fast rate from being so angry.
I nearly fucking died. But I was good about it, I didn't say anything, I bit my lip and just ignored it. As I got out of the car I turn to him and say "That is not a thing you want to say to me mate. Say it again and I'll snap you in half" he looked at me asthough I was a dead shit or something. So were walking down the alley to the main entrance from the back yard where we parked. Then I get really pissed off because Sharna basically agreed with him,just not directly. We have a few words as we go inside, I slam the door and go inside and talk to Pete about what had just happened.
He agrees with me, because saying that anyones way of live is 'evil' is the wrong thingto do, yes?
Anyway, to cut to the chase, Sharna said that in no way does she have anything against the gay community, which I already knew. But the thing I don't get is she wants to be a good Christian and all, but she loves the gay community even though she's being taught to think different. She agrees that the bible is saying that it's 'evil' but she dosen't think it's evil. She tryed telling me that she only hates the gay people who have orgies and pass around H.I.V and A.I.D.S I was just like WHAT!THE!FUCK!? Heterosexual people have orgies and pass around H.I.V and A.I.D.S aswell,not just the gay community.
Like hoestly, I wasn't pissed at Sharna I was just pissed at the fact that she brought someone in to MY environment knowing what his views on my lifestyle were.
As we were screaming at each other out the front I was telling her that he knew that saying something like that was an offensive comment and saying something like that would offend anyone.
Saying that someone's way of life is 'evil' is fucking a horrible thing to say, maybe if I was a rapist or murderer or something yeah... But FUCK!ME! It's not like I'd turn around and say "yeah, well relgion is bullshit all the churches should be burned down" I love Sharna and completely support anything she does, even religion. But my god, she shouldn't be saying that her believes don't agree with my lifestyle even if she does. Anything that turs you away from your friends and family, and asks you to believe in something that isn't actually there is bullshit.
IT'S PEOPLE LIKE HIM THAT MAKE ME HATE RELIGION MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY!
