*is looking frantically though his bookbag and his folders, his expression getting more worried as the teacher comes closer and closer to his desk as she checks off that everyone has the notes that were to be copied from the board yesterday; he flushes when he hears someone snicker from nearby, and finally gives up the search when it's his turn and he has nothing to show*

I could have sworn they were here, but... I guess I must have dropped them somewhere. Maybe I left them at home, I dunno.

*sighs as he gets marked for another zero for having produced no notes, starting to wonder if there's something wrong with him that he keeps losing them so often, and this is the third class today*
