*the light from Sora is felt more than seen; he tries to shed the darkness wrapping around him like a cold blanket, to float higher toward that light and manages to nearly slip free, then the darkness is reaching for him, wrapping like rope around his arms, legs and neck, dragging him back down with a possessive jerk before he can so much as breathe a word*

*he winces internally when he feels the warring in your heart taking place over that semi-formed bond, and, brows furrowed as he tries to get closer, he wraps his arms around you and starts talking in his sleep, little needy incantations; don't go, i'm right here*

*the world of Riku's dream grows a little brighter, illuminating shadowy shapes moving like ants, shapes that grow larger as he's pulled inexorably down despite his struggles; moments pass that feel like forever as yellow points of light gleam in the darkness, but Riku's eyes are still closed and he doesn't see; his body is still numbed so he doesn't feel when clawed hands reach for him*

*his own sleep is becoming very light and disturbed, and he only needs one more nudge to bring him to consciousness, because his eyes are rolling around under his eyelids, and he knows something is very wrong, but he isn't quite lucid enough to put his finger on it; he does however move closer to you, instinctively keeping you safe*

*is getting a bit desperate to do something, whether it's waking Riku or altering this somehow. he can feel sora's light in here and sends a tentative wave of fire out towards it, just a signal not an attack, to see if he can see him in here*
