My New Year...

Jan 02, 2005 16:14

I'm leaving NOVA in less than a week. I feel like I haven't even seen half of my friends, and I still wanna be able to see them all before sunday.

Well....I had a falling out with my dad, which is getting better, but I guess I really don't want it to. He just did some things that I won't be able to forgive him for, for a long time. So he talks to me, I murmur some sort of short response, because I'd feel like a jackass if I totally ignored him.

Jason's gonna get my car fixed from Tuesday to Thursday, and he found a cheaper price than what I find out, and I'm glad. He's my friend, I'm not gonna screw him over by making him pay exorbant amounts of money for fixing my car, when he could get it cheaper...which was the main reason why my dad and I argued in the first place.

I've been hangin out with Kyle mainly these past few days. He goes back to the Air Force Academy on the 4th. Our maturity/immaturity is so alike...we can just chill...or stack raindeer, or raise hell, and it'll be something to remember.

Overall, work over this break was what killed me and has made me everlastingly tired. I just gave my boss at PacSun at JMU my hours, but I only asked her to work me two or three days a week. I can't stand working as much as I did last semester. Plus, working at this PacSun at home, is MUCH better than at college. The staff here is so much more different, we all click. I guess I'm being biased.

I'm excited to go back to JMU mostly, I really wanna start things off on the right foot and be studious. I was never one to make resolutions, but I have three.

Resolution #1: Go to UREC during the semester, with Brent, and lift weights, get more toned, and eat healthier, including drinking more water.
Resolution #2: Get awesome grades...study at least two days in advance for tests...read ALL text information that is assigned, and get better than a 3.0 in all my classes, and do NOT procrastinate.
Resolution #3: Girls....don't sweat them. Surely if I follow the first two resolutions, then this one will be a piece of cake to follow.

With that said, and me leaving this sunday on the 9th,

Well, it was just mainly us chillin' at Kyle's house...very low key, very chill...

Well, at JMU, whenever I stay in for the night, I get a few calls from drunk friends to give 'em rides, so I thought, why not come see some friends at home, and do the same...I give you, Jen, Lauren, and Myself, three's company.
