Bought a lightly used toyota matrix a few months back. Which of course means the beloved Jeep is no longer with us. Sold it for cheap on CL since the Mexican construction guy looked like he could use a deal. He also didn't care if it was already smogged so that made the decision a little easier.

As an homage I included some pics from last trip Kristy and I took to Baja in August. I don't think I've shared them yet anyway. It will probably be awhile until I venture that far south again for various reasons.

One last time:

Warp zone

"Shipwrecks" is surf spot I've never ridden since it doesn't break as well as some of the surrounding spots. A little gringo community has sprung up around it, the first time I visited it it sat alone on the coast.

Empty coast line, but for how long? Supposedly a monumentous sized port is going to cover this whole stretch of coast. It's going to be funded by Asian corporations and could drastically cut traffic into LA/San Diego ports since it will be much cheaper to ship here. They have already bought huge parcels of land down there. Tragic really, it's all going to be destroyed and a huge industrial complex built. Good for Mexican economy though I guess.
