Back, back into time
As an invitee I felt privileged to witness "Battles" perform last night, and I don't feel weird about calling it a performance, at times it was definitely more than just a band 'playing.' Some of the vocals a little distracting, but I think we agreed the musicianship was top notch.
Also 'twas good to hang out with the C-pop after LA at the Cherry Lounge (can I call it that?).
Which instigated me to look through some old pictures today, specifically of the mustache party-era... maybe because of our hair discussion last night where we delved into the subject of follicles at a level previously untouched. Anywho, stumbled upon this.
Seeing as there is a definite protagonist, antagonist, exposition, climax and resolution- I would say this qualifies as a true drama. Thoughts? Impressions? Critiques?
Maybe you had to be there.
