The stroy of how a person changed something negative into a positive
Ok This Picture reminds me of a little story........I was living in my apt with my roomate Nicole(also from Indiana) and we shared a one room apt. Well Nicole got a job that paid her a good amount of money and she decided to move out. So I was excited because I was gonna be all alone and that meant more freedom. Well my apt. wasn't decorated at all, it was pure white and I slept on the floor. I have this friend(who I won't mention for reputation reasons, but he is widely known) who wasn't having it(me sleeping in an undecorated, dull apt., sleeping on the floor) So he decided to help me out a bit by fixing up the place, so I thought.
Day One: I go to work and I have a shitty day, duh I work at Jamba Juice, and I come home to a completely reconstructed apt. I was in shock! My friend Had painted all kinds of shit, and sanded shit, and just did all kinds of shit)good shit) to my apt. I was like thank you thank you(thinking I had to finish it!)
Day Two: I go to work and I have a shitty day, duh I work at Jamba Juice, and I come home to a even more different apt. My friend had asked me the previous day what my op 20 favorite cd's were, so I told him and he went and bought old records from a thrift store and spray painted them silver with the cover of the cd's(my top20) in the middle! I was so shocked and in bliss, pure bliss. No one has ever and has yet to do anything for me without asking for anything in return. He did it just to help me out, just because he wanted to! I have never, ever had that, EVER, so yeah!
Day Three: even MORE! I was off from my shitty job and M@tt, oops I mean my friend, told me to make a collage from my favorite US magazine and InTouch magazine clippings. (see if you can follow, if not just come over and I will show you) There are 4 seperate pieces of paper, like 10x12(er maybe) then put then all together t amke one BIG piece of paper. So I filled the whole thing up with all my favorite ladies and I was done with that. Well, my friend, he cutt them into fours again then went to kinko's and copied a ton of each piece. Then he took starch and glue these copied(black and white)peices on my wall on every other wall as wall paper. When they were placed they all fit together like a puzzle because he cut them into fours(make sense) sorry to confuse.
Day Three CONTINUED......so then he had painted every other wall Hypnotic Blue, or Trina Blue(the blue from her album art, The Diamond Princess) put square mirrors on one wall, shelves on one wall, sanded my cabinets, put stick on floor in my bathroom, got me an iron bed painted it gold, painted my bathroom red with gold ceiling, got me a shower rod w/curtain, made me a Lil Kim Clock, and my favorite thing.........He made outta cardboard a heart like the one in the picture above. and wrote my name in the middle where the ribbon goes over the heart, then he poked x-mas lights through from the back and it lights up man!!!!! that sounds kinda confusing too, but you all have to see it someday to believe it! So yeah I will be eternally grateful, thank you "friend", hahaha,
So the picture above reminded me of the story and I felt the need to share, summer is the season of friends, so let's be nice to our friends!!!!!!!!!!
