So, over in anvilchorus LJ, there was a discussion about chronicle sovereignty, bylaws, etc. mrsmith4657 (aka Toby - some older gamers may remember him) posted the following in response to the ongoing discussion:
"Well people are people and those who have no real power in life love having power over people in a game to hell with the rules. Yes I'm cynical and an ass but then again i played in Macon By Night and Habit Of Being and those games can do that to a Larper."
I decided to post this here rather than in Tim's LJ because I didn't want to interfere with the discussion that was being made.
I tried to compile a constructive rebuttal and could only come up with this; if this dude truly believes the feces that he is spewing forth, he is a total moron. He was one of the biggest drama llamas in any game that I have participated in. His bitterness towards game was ALWAYS self generated and anyone who participated in a game with him knew this.
This dude has no idea what it takes to run and operate a LARP. It's role-players like him that personify the term "problem player." The LARPing community is better off without his type of persona. Good riddance.
