I wish I could say it gets better. Actually, I don't really, but, y'know. I'm very glad you're liking it thus far. Thank you!

Loved the world building that you did and how you used the characters to show it off. Loved the Geoffrey comments as history. My only question is - did Merlin kill Arthur or did he save him (showing up as companion as they disappeared into history)? Great job.

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun creating this world. As for you question - what do you think?

I'm not sure. It sounds like Arthur went with him but I'm not sure Arthur would do that. He's much too honorable to let Morgana take the throne when it's his duty to do so. On the other hand, Merlin did say he could only save one of them and I think his choice would be always to save Arthur.

I left it purposefully vague, so that the reader could make their own decision about what happened in the end. That way I could better accommodate both a given reader's desire for a happier ending and my own urge to make everything a tragedy. (In the first draft, Arthur died.)

Wow, just, wow. This is brilliantly written. I love how I'm still not sure what to think.

this was dark, but then, not entirely dark!
you wrote it in a way, that I actually did not mind, that arthur would not be king, but that morgana was the heir of uther.

and the ambigious ending!
fascinating!

I am not usually a fan of dystopic fiction but this was a compelling read. I find myself wanting to know more about this world.
