- A magical flying beast is plaguing the outer regions of Camelot; Arthur is tasked with dispatching it, and naturally, Merlin comes along for the ride. However, they are not the only ones on it's trail, and their path entwines with that of a fairy maiden and a former prince who seek to fix a curse barring their way into Avalon. But with the beast's history soaked in old and powerful magic, Arthur soon faces a trial of survival, and Merlin faces his toughest magical challenge yet: deconstructing the work of an immortal.

- Merlin/Arthur.

- 964 words.

- Intimidated by writing the pure action scenes/getting the OCs (sort of, they're figures from a few celtic fairy tales) right. Enthused! Impatient to get into the heart of the story.

- All the climatic bits, not limited to: the final magical showdown, personal revelations, the seperations and then the reunion, the magic apple coming into play! Also, the bonding between the fairy maiden and Merlin, the rivalry between the former prince and Arthur. (Both of which will hopefully be insightful and entertaining, and not, you know, completely lame omgIamsoparanoid :|).

They're based on an Irish fairy tale called Connla and the Fairy Maiden :)

Though, they're sort of post-tale, at this point. XD

Why thank you! It's not the kind of story that summarises well, LOL. But hopefully the final piece will actually read well! XD

No, I think if the writing is good and the pacing is well-handled, it'll be great! Looking forward to it. :D
