School is going well. I talked to Jazno about my grade in animation and I'm pretty pleased, it turns out (from a quick glance down the class grades) that my bouncing ball animation tied for the highest grade in the class, and overall I'm doing somewhat strongly. That's pretty neat, considering I thought I was failing.
Other things in life.. Eh, they are what they are, I suppose. My friends- and I don't use that term loosely- rock, it's cool to finally be around people that I can be simultaneously nerdy and cool around. Unfortunately, I'm getting along better with the juniors and sophomores than I am with my own freshmen class. I discussed this briefly with Jenki, and she says maybe it's due to an age gap.. I'm 20 and most of my class just got out of highschool. Either way, I'm trying to make an effort to make more friends with the people I have classes with.
I miss drum corps. A lot. I don't care if they fired everyone and Becca is difficult to get along with, I really really need to tour again and just.. get away, heh. I miss dancing. I miss being tan and skinny. I miss dying at the end of a runthrough and looking forward to shitty showers. I'm sending in my audition tape as soon as Jengy and I can record it. That will be interesting.
It's nearly four in the morning. Why am I still awake? I'm not really sure. I'm going to bed now. Okay.. peace out.
