Am I the only one out there with a grandma who is a ringer for Jeanne Beker? Everytime I flip the channels and her interview with Karl Lagerfeld is on, I feel this little surge of pride.
My grandma may look like Jeanne Beker, and she may sound like Jeanne Beker, and she certainly criticizes the Top Model contestants the way my grandmother would, but would Jeanne Beker take dance lessons with the ladies in her church group? Actually, would Jeanne Beker start attending church after 65+ years of livin' agnostic?
I feel like I should get to meet her to figure it all out. See how deep their connection really runs. First thing I'll do - rifle though Jeanne Beker's closet to check for one of those shirts with cat torsos on the front and cat butts on the back.
