oh my god, i think i'm dying in this car seat...
i just got back from another trip to Brooklyn to see Lauren. i went with Kirbi this time. she moved to Crown Heights, which really isn't the best part of the city. let's just say, sometimes i was scared for my life. she's planning on moving to Astoria, Queens after her lease is over and i personally couldn't be happier for her. i fear for her safety since she's a girl, a white girl at that and walking alone around a bunch of crackheads (jk!).
on to the visit, it was just as awesome as last time. Pete Wentz's bar isn't all it's cracked up to be. Pinkberry is delicious. H&M is cheap and great. Hugs will always be an awesome dance party. it's just creepy when a bunch of dudes are dancing in their underwear. the subways are fun when someone brings in a boombox and starts break dancing while it's moving. free pizza is an added bonus when you buy a beer. lastly, whiskey sours in New York always taste different and better. i need to learn exactly what they put in them.
after months and months of trying to get a transfer, it finally happened! i'm moving to Greensboro on Saturday. i couldn't be more excited about it. i rode my bike 2 miles around the park today to try to get back in shape. i plan on using it at any chance.
my next two goals are to eat better and lose more weight (this includes drinking less which i've been doin ok at so far), as well as find time and funds to go back to school. here's to bigger and better things.
