So it wasn't like Ray was stalking Benton or anything...it was just. Work was boring. And he was looking up the names of all kinds of people on his chat program, just to see if they had an account. And one of those names happened to be Benton Fraser. And he maybe couldn't help it if, when he entered the name and it came up with a result, he sat up a little straighter in his chair and grinned to himself.

bkwrmbntn@aec.net

What the hell? It took Ray about five minutes to work out that it stood for book worm benton - which, wow, hello dorkiness - and not something like black war mob.

Ray's own account name was simply r_kowalski@pk.net, but it wasn't hard and it didn't take long to make an entirely new username.

A few minutes later, and bkwrmh0tpnts@aec.net was sending a private message to bkwrmbntn@aec.net that read:

bkwrmh0tpnts@aec.net: a/s/l? ;-)

So maybe it was more boring at work than Ray would like to admit.
