Those are prizmacolor markers with a touch of coloured pencil. A bit of graphite and ink here and there. That is the Theban alphabet above the door which says "Enter The Mysteries" It is an old language that was used by Witches to maintain secrecy. Yes, I love snakes too. I have a python named Kahn and rattlesnakes are abundant in my area. Those are diamondbacks there. They are female though, because they are almost heart shaped.
Well, anyways...This dial-up drives me crazy. I never know what it is up to. You asked if the pic looked like you . Upon close inspection, Dr. Dusty saw that the lovely Ms. Sensen did indeed look like his work of art. Only thing was that his work paled in comparison to her beauty ^__^!!You do have many features in common though. Your jawline and chin. Also where your nose meets your mouth. Very interesting. Also I asked in the lost mail. If you could be a mythological character, or one of fantasy, who would you be? You could inspire something...
Seriously, I did not mind at all. I love to see pretty things, Ms. Sensen. I am in the process of studying the Greek mythos and I already have pictures flowing through my mind. Sooo, if you want to be Psyche, then you can be Psyche. Let me acquire the vision once I get there, and we'll go from there. If that is okay ofcourse...
I don't know the complete story as of yet. It has been a long time since I've read it. As a part of my spirituality I'm studying the deities of the Greek-Roman era. I'm already wanting to do something of Prometheus. Once I get to the story of Psyche and Eros, I would love to turn someone that cares about the story into the characters. Tis a work of magick. It will make the work all the more special. Give me a little time to get there and it would make my heart sing to turn you and your husband into the myth. To me it is the most wonderful feeling to draw a likeness of someone. I have drawn likenesses of people whom I work with before, and to see their face when I have done a good job. Ohhh , it is so rewarding! You make a connection with their soul... It is so hard to explain...
what medium you working with - is it acrylic?
and do you know what it's written above the door?
