After 10 years, SPN you still have your heart. That was a lovely tribute of an episode, not too heavy-handed, but enough meaningful and hilarious hat tips that showed thoughtful, heartfelt intentions with a nice side of good-natured jabs. Love how this episode walked the line between acknowleging and poking fun of its fans and the sometimes bizarreness of fanfiction without laughing at its fans and the sometimes bizarreness of fanfiction. Fans write because they love SPN, and now SPN writes because they love the fans. Well done, Robbie Thompson. Well done.
