Football
its been a while...
so i dont know if anyone has seen the Nike Football commercial where Ladanian Tomlinson, Michael Vick, Matt Leinart and Brian Urlacher among other football legends are back in highschool and you see a lot of typical game day on the gridiron type shit goin on... playin under the lights, cheerleaders, and the commeraderie that comes with playing Football. Ever since i saw gridiron gang i have really had the urge to play football again. i guess when i quit the team at simi i really did not want to do so but i get frustrated when i am not a big part of something, and not being a starter can do that to you. but i really miss the game bad, i wish i could pick up a ball and play tommorow, just go to the gridiron and play under the lights. today was like 85 degrees with that certain feel that fall was here and it just made me reminise about football. i took it for granted and now that its completely gone for me to play without even a shimmer of hope, i really miss it and wish i could go back to simi and just play.
i also realized that the best football song ever is "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum, listen to it and you will know why.
