Prologue
Adam turned into the warm body next to him and.....wait, warm body? He slowly opened his eyes, afraid of what he'd see. Yep, Blake Shelton in his bed. Normally,this would thrill Adam. But Blake was getting married next week. This was a once off. It was a mistake. Blake loved Miranda, not Adam. Holding back tears, Adam slipped out of the bed and collected his clothes. He slid into his jeans and with his t-shirt in hand, left the room, quietly shutting the door behind him. He kept telling himself this meant nothing, it was a mistake. Pity he didn't believe that.

Blake stretched as he woke up. He took a deep breath and noticed something. What was that smell? It smelled like sex? Miranda wasn't in town. They weren't even having sex in the run up to the wedding. So, what happened last night? Adam. He had slept with Adam. Oh god. He'd promised Miranda he wouldn't go near Adam. She knew they had feelings for each other and didn't want to lose her fiancee. Blake took a deep, calming breath.Ok, Adam was gone. Clearly a one night stand to him. That was fine. Blake was getting married, anyway. Just to be sure, Blake would talk with Adam when they were on set tomorrow. He'd tell the younger man that tonight was a once off, a mistake and that he loved Miranda. Everything would be fine. Why didn't he believe that?
