I did it!!!!
I hereby declare myself a genius. After about 2 hours straight of wathing the "So Far Away" live video, courtesy of snocore, I have finally figured out identically what Eddie's playing. Turns out he's playing a 7-string. A Schecter Black Jack C7 to be exact, and it's tuned down to Bb, C#, G#, C# which took over an hour to figure out. So I tuned my 6 down to a 7, and I know damn well the high E is gonna snap when I raise it back up. But yes, the pride that overcomes me... I could be the very first person to post a tab for it online, but hell no, I figured it out, so only I shall have the glory. This is....amazing.
