So at lovely Kennesaw State University, you have no not only apply to get into this school, but you have to go through the stupid application process again to get into the nursing school.
That's pretty lame since the acceptance rate is soooo low and it's way competative. I mean, is it just me or do we not need nurses or something? Update me Kennesaw, seriously. Don't turn away perfectly good candidates with 3.8's. UGH.
I'm waiting to hear from them to see if I am chosen for an interview. Oh yes...not only do we have to apply to the damn nursing school, but they choose candidates who are eligable and then interview them. So yay, there's a second chance at rejection.
Apparently what people in my shoes do down here is apply to other nursing schools in the area as a back up. I'm going to apply to the nursing school at GSU. Acutally, I'm applying for their accelerated program which means I'd start nursing stuff next fall, and continue in the spring, summer, then graduate the following fall of 2009.
If good things happen and I get into the KSU nursing program, I'll start in the summer of next year then graduate fall of 2009.
This is so dumb and WAY too much work! It took so much effort to transfer to this damn school and I am not leaving! They're accepting me into that nursing school, I don't care what they say.
