yesterday was totally productive as far as jobs go. didn't land one but it looks very promising. just before i left to go to lil rock for the interview, i got a call from a contact i had made at the career fair. i did a pre-screen interview over the phone and hopefully that'll lead to another interview. then i went down to lil rock and met with the hr manager for farmers insurance. let me tell ya, this job is sweet ass!!!
lots of training involved, which is good because i don't really have a grasp on what exactly a property claims adjuster does. 6weeks of training in lil rock (expenses paid), then 3weeks training in california (expenses paid), then two more weeks training in lil rock (expenses paid). i would work out of the house, because they don't have an office in the fort. they would give me a car, a laptop, pay for high speed internet, and pay to have a business phone line, and prolly give me a cell phone!! on top of all that i would also be making more money that at usa... hello awesome job, i'm anna. you wanna hang out sometime? i totally worked it at the interview too. extremely savvy!
i bowl tonight haven't really been gearing up for it though, with all the job stuff going on...
this morning didn't start out too good. i woke up at like 0430-0500 because i was coughing my head off, then around 0700 one of my best friends called me because his dad had just died. i don't know how much help i was to him because i didn't say much, i want to help but didn't really know how. i cried after i hung up the phone... this sucks. then i went outside and its such an awesome day! sunny and humid just the way i like it! i'd like to take that as a sign that everything will be okay. ya hear that? everything will be okay...
