Really? Is that what it's called?

Well, yes, Sherlock Holmes and Criminal Minds have something in common. Aside from the fact that SH is basically CM in Victorian England, the two male leads also seem to be a little bit in love with each other.

"What were you doing just now?"

Flushed, Reid said, "Thinking. Trying to make sense of the crime scenes. What Sherlock Holmes called ( Read more... )

Jump Cut is the only book I've read in the CM series so far, and yet I'd (not surprisingly, though) forgotten about that! Thank you for reminding me. =)

.:still misses that kind of interaction on actual show, meh:.

So glad to see you here. I was sure this entry wouldn't show up on your f-list again.

Yeah, I too forgot about the SH references until I saw the movie and then I remembered that something SH was mentioned in one of the CM books, and bam! Hotch and Reid bonded over Sherlock freakin' Holmes!

I actually got an idea for a crossover months ago. It's epic and still there. Sadly due to my job, I don't think it will turn into anything real any time soon, so I hope someone else would pick up on the idea of CM/SH crossover and provide us some slash goodness. XD

How horrific was the latest episode by the way? I think I might be the only one, but I'm not ready to see Hotch smile yet.

Yeah, LJ's being so unnerving it finally convinced me to half-migrate to Twitter! And that's saying a lot.

Sorry this reply is so late but I keep missing LJ notices (your post @ cm_hotch_reid reminded me to check back on this entry) and LJ is apparently hell bent on not fixing this problem. >(

I'm going to download the CM books-related stuff ASAP, thank you SO much for the uploads!

And yes, the latest (couple of) episode(s, if you ask me) pretty much sucked.

I think I might be the only one, but I'm not ready to see Hotch smile yet.

You're not the only one. In my book, Hotch is only allowed to smile around Reid. XP

But, seriously, one of the first things I told coffeecocktails re: the episode was that I'd had the feeling Hotch was on the verge of laughter throughout the whole thing, which was kinda surreal.

I should get on Twitter more, but LJ takes most of my time, and I don't have a lot of it, lol. I check Twitter from time to time, and mostly only to stalk the celebs, mind you. Like MGG's latest pic on the set from Joe's tweet. The hair was a bit out of control, but I liked it. Looked so soft, hmm...

I was on a verge of something while watching that horrendous episode. It felt like another show, but that discussion was so over by the second hour after the episode was aired, lol. I liked last week's ep though. And we've got the good old caffeinated Reid who's nervous around big guns and Hotch (+Morgan) being (over)protective of him. XD

There's some H/R goodness in book 2 and 3 but nothing full-blown like their SH bonding in book 1. Still there are some squee-worthy moments if you really look for them, lol.

I still like LJ better, but it's hard to go back to every single entry I comment on in order to keep track of missed replies to my comments. I wish there was something I could do about this that didn't involve changing e-mail address (as LJ Support oh so helpfully suggested)...

Yeah, I hardly ever update myself. I mainly use it to follow celebs and reply to my friends' tweets.

Like MGG's latest pic on the set from Joe's tweet.

I'm still hoping for either Matthew or Joe to convince Thomas to create an account, too.

I liked last week's ep though.

It didn't exactly meet my (admittedly high) standards, but it was way better than The Fight and it definitely had its moments. (You don't. *LOL*)

if you really look for them, lol.

I've got a little too much on my plate in terms of books I want to read, but intend to. Thanks for the 'clues'. ;-)
