Airbrush action
Chatting with bassgirl, she pointed me to a "professional photographer" 's image. We had an interesting chat about the use of photoshop, and the definition of "professional". I've had some discussions lately about what constitutes a "professional" photog, the use of photoshop in images and the responsibility to art.
Personally, I'm not as obsessed with purity as some photogs. I'm a photographer, not a photojournalist, so I don't have the same dedication to the "truth" as others.
However, that being said, I do think that one has a responsibility to create beauty.
I saw some real potential in the image I was shown. So I photoshopped it a bit.
I'm wondering which one looks better?
