(no subject)
Ryan made a surprise visit last night. He came in around 10:40ish, or there abouts. He told me that he had talked to Jordan a few minutes before coming, and that Jordan was coming up, too. We all just sat around chatting about old times, new times, and gossiping like old ladies. Great stuff.
I'm not sure when he went home, Jordan left around around 3, maybe. Ryan went to bed in my brother's room around 4 something, but I stayed in there and talked to him a bit, until 5ish. Then tried going to sleep myself.
He's having some kind of little shindig tonight and wanted us to come up, I'm not sure we'll get to, but it'd be really nice. I forget how good it is to hang out with someone until we spend some time together. Makes me want to move to Bowling Green again.
I drew a bit last week, although it's already been a couple of days since I've last done anything. The few things I did didn't turn out too badly. Not very good, either, but...eh. I think my problem right now is a lack of patience. I took more time of the latter sketches and they turned a all right. The first couple weren't that great. I think I'll do a couple more pages of sketches then try to actually draw something.
Also, my left hand has been a little weird, lately. During a workout the other day the muscles in my palm were really tight and spastic. I can't really explain it very well, I don't even quite remember the sensation, but it had me worried for a bit. Anyways, I started these sketches with my left hand and it just felt weird, so I decided to switch over to the right to do the rest. I'm not sure, sometimes I'm just in the mood for a particular hand, hopefully it's just a phase. Sometimes these things scare me a bit. I suppose I should do some specific left hand doodles later, and make sure the thing is working properly. Hah, I sound so paranoid.
I kind of played guitar with James yesterday. We were basically just sitting around strumming a bit, and trying to remember pieces of Metallica songs. It's going to be fun to really jam with him whenever we finally get things situated. I'm looking forward to trying to jam with Adam, too. I should really get to know him more.
