Cram It.

Here's a cramming of all the stuff I've been meaning to post ever since I got back from North Carolina, in chronological order:

North Carolina (Hendersonville, NC) was like Cape Coral only fewer young people and much more rednecks. I was asked how many Mexicans are living in the state of Florida. I guessed "too many" and apparently that's the answer that the person was looking for. Other than that though, it wasn't too bad. Spending time with my parents was all right for the first couple of days, and then I just wanted to head back home. I got a Wii as well, so come over and play sometime.

Work is continuing to suck as new rules and regulations keep being put into effect. I wish I didn't enjoy the free movies and the people I work with so much.

My class schedule for this coming semester is as follows:
Monday -> German II (4:30 PM to 6:20 PM)
Tuesday -> Cinematic Critical Writing (12:00 PM to 2:50 PM) / Nonfiction Writing (3:00 PM to 4:15 PM)
Wednesday -> Adaptation (10:30 AM to 1:20 PM) / German II (4:30 PM to 6:20 PM)
Thursday -> Nonfiction Writing (3:00 PM to 4:15 PM)

I also have an online Fiction Workshop, which means a lot of writing is coming my way this semester.

I got a letter from UCF stating that Oasis denied my request for two of the science classes I took at Edison to be accepted as the two science classes I'm missing at UCF. This would have been a nice letter to receive before I picked my classes for this semester considering I put in that request to Oasis on April of 06.

I have a few resolutions that I'm going to try to uphold for this next year. First and foremost, I either want to find another job or find a reason to stay with this current job (aka get promoted). I'm not sticking around for summer if it's going to be the same. Secondly, I want to get something completely unnecessary. It doesn't have to be uber-expensive, just something I honestly don't need that is extravagant. Next, I want to stop eating out so much. Bethany and I must eat out at least three or four meals a week, which is too much. I want to limit it to maybe once a week and buy more groceries that we'll actually eat together. And finally, at least for this posting, I want a pet. Not a snake like we have now, but something that'll actually notice I'm there (and not just when it wants to kill me and drink my blood), like a cat or a dog or a Paris Hilton or something.

[Edit: I also want to pay my bills off. I know I'll probably wind up making more bills for myself, but I want to at some point in this year see a balance of zero dollars for one of my credit cards, even if it's for a month. I also want another tattoo.]
