Whoo. Haven't posted in forever. Okayyy, let's see what we can catch up on in the next 21 minutes. (I want to go to bed at 11:30 -- or at least start getting ready -- 'cause I have work tomorrow.)
Um, am in a Sherlock Holmes craze. Started reading the short stories before I knew the movie was coming out. Saw the movie. LOVED IT. (The inconsistencies with the books/stories were a treat.) Now am slightly bored with SH stories and am reading linguistics books instead. YAY. Linguistics is hilarious. Will quote sometime.
Had a great Yule (Dec 21 - Dad's family) and Christmas (Dec 25 - mom's family) and New Year's (party at Dad's with friends).
Working at mom's job again, like I did over the summer. Fun. Am now more socially adept and am making friends more easily. Love the new girl, Megan, who just started this Monday.
Sick. Headaches and nausea and other aches and tiredness and stuffy nose and runny nose and sneezing and sore throat. Illness came swiftly and leaving as fast, but am overtired and not sleeping well. Doesn't help me get better. But job is mindless and easy and mildly entertaining, so I'm happy.

Oh, right, I bought Don Quixote...in ye olde Spanish! Sadly, it's rather impenetrable. Every sentence has like forty footnotes with definitions and cultural explanations and so on. My course on the book is going to be really hard if I can't will myself to read more than three pages of it.
Ack. Now it's past 11:30. Goodnight, all! Sweetest of dreams.
