Ok, so I'm still in the process of making the blouse. I had to put away the material and supplies the day after I posted that one entry, and I never got them back out. Luckily, with a three day weekend, I'm hoping to make it on Monday, perhaps.
In other sewing news, Hancock is having a Labor Day sale, so I went today and stocked up on new patterns. I got yet another cool medieval dress pattern, a pirate outfit pattern and a Shakespearean poet's shirt pattern(both of which are pirate-y in nature and will possibly be used to make our tap costume for this year. We're dancing to Pirates of the Caribbean!). Oh, and I got a really awesome pattern that is Belle's golden gown almost to a tee. The skirt isn't nearly full enough, and I'll need to add the fluffy material(possibly crinkle organza?) that goes around the cap sleeves, but otherwise it looks pretty dead-on, I must say.
