Welcome to my mouth
Ahhhh, did I mention that I love LiveJournal? Because I do. *nods*
So, onto regular blogging before dinner, whoop!
This summer, I'm working as a counselor at a local swim camp which is highly amusing. I don't really know what I'm doing swim-wise, but I've now caught onto the concepts of what breast stroke and butterfly are, haha. I have yet to try diving there, but I'd rather not as I suck at it. And there are cute guys lurking around......So, yes, I'd like to semi-look like I know what I'm doing. Luckily, I've taught dance classes many a time, so I'm good with kids and have the disciplinary thing down pat. My job's pretty fun...mostly consists of 50% playing games with kids 50% yelling at them for pushing each other in and such, haha.
In other aspects of my life, I'm chilling out and enjoying summer a lot. Our group of friends has gotten together several times, the most recently being this morning. We decided last night that we were craving Harry Potter and the only available time for all of us was this morning. So, reminiscent of LOT RATs past, everyone got here early at 9am and we watched GoF. Very amusing! Then I had to kick everyone out so I could go to work at 12:45.
A midnight release PotC2 party is in the works.....Should be cool.
Ok, onto a much more recent sewing update:
After staying up till 2 last night watching Monty Python episodes and armed with a pair of scissors, I now have all my cloth prepared for the blouse I'm making, which is the following~~
I'm making View D, which is the bottom left hand corner, in case it's too small to see. I'm gonna start the sewing process tomorrow with any luck, so YAY!
Alright, off to finish cleaning up from the GoF dealio, as I had to run out the back door while my friends left through the front....
