Atta Baby!

Well, the Ray Charles dancing was *lots* of fun, but the music sure as heck wasn't. All of the songs got screwed up, and at one point, four of us at the piano sat through 3-4 song switchings and had to continually improv. To top it off, during our last number, they turned up the house lights so we could see everyone in the audience. Several people that I hadn't expected and/or wanted to see there had come for the show. Thinking back on our improv and the few dances that we actually got to do, I wasn't thrilled that they were there. However, dancing in our big group was awesome, Jee and Christie were great in their first ever performance, we got flowers, Mexican soda, and cookies afterwards, and we ate some ice cream at TCBY. Fun times with the dancers!

[Through clenched teeth that are holding a permanent smile]
"Damn it!" (As the music changes yet again while we're at the piano)
"Don't cuss on stage!"

Tonight was wonderful...yay poker night! Obviously, I lost all my money, per usual, but it was lots of fun for our whole group to hang out, esp. since it was the first Pro-guys poker night. Many high squeaky voices and much food= awesomeness. Like, on a scale of 1-9? Pretty dang. Several moments that were particularly fun for me, but we won't get into that. On a slightly unrelated note, one of the attendees was a pecany, smarmy bloke that had been possessed by pixies(hence the high squeaky voices and *cough* cheating *cough*). Man, I love inside jokes, man. (Let's name as many inside jokes as we can in a minute....ready? GO!)

But I digress.

I'm going to bed now....too much to think about right now.

~~Crys, tired and happy

P.S. I found out today that I have the most awesomely awesome big person this year: KYLE! Boo yah! He had to work today, but he left me a bag with a ribbon that says "Special Helper", a bagful of army men, dice, glow bracelets, and candy! Haha, he makes my day.... :D
