We've started the duologues to go with the monologues for our drama group's presentation at the end of the semester. I'm with this girl Fiona who I was in the same group with last semester when we did a bit of work on Medea. For the duologue we're doing something very different to my monolgue (Tupperware Man). We're doing the rape scene from Streetcar Named Desire...which will be challenging. Our tutor was slightly aprehensive as to whether we could pull it off so he made us do the exercise where one partner closes their eyes and the other kind of massages them without touching them. And he made us do it in character, so I start quite friendly and slowly get more threatening until things snap at the end. (It reminded me of Phantom again. I guess that exercise always will) After we went he told us that we could do that scene. We both felt a bit wierd after it though, because we're quite good friends in our group and I had to make her feel really uncomfortable...
