It's that time again! The Snarry Games! Yay~
So once again, i shall be keeping a running talley on what i think of each of the entries for the Snarry Games. I suppose it'll go a bit differently from the last time as the format has changed a bit, but whatever~ ^___^
1) No Way Back - I loved this~ It was wonderfully written and i didn't mind that it was a bit long. I'm just a sucker for time travel-ish stuff. And i adore Mirror of Maybe~ I wish that would be updated a little more frequently~ In any case, i very much enjoyed this fic. From McG's catching on to Harry's Snapey love and offering him a drink in her office to Flitwick's crazy suspicion. And the whole Hermione and Ron getting injured thing. Oh! Oh! And the way that it started before book 6 and managed to incorporate many of the big events while still keeping to the wonderfully believable AU~ And Snape as a passionate lover just tickles my fancy. He really wanted to please~ He was a bit OOC for me but lovely nonetheless. [6,7,8]
2) Magnificent Penetration - This was a wonderful piece~ The ending gave me such a happy squeeful feeling~ I enjoyed the games and bets Harry and Severus made for sex and the fact that Neville was the one to help Severus while trying to retrieve Harry! ^__^ [7,7,8]
3) Covenant - I am gasping at how wonderful this is! Oh~ What a cliffhanger of an ending! I love it! The feelings in this just send shivers down my back! And i love that Snape has a rook for an animagus. And the line at the end! "...he stares at Harry. In fear. Not of Voldemort, not of death - but as though finally having something to live for might break him" Oh~ It was angsty and enigmatic and just- guh! I can't even properly express how this made me feel! [9,9,9]
4) Vision in Colour - This entry left me speechless. It was sad and mournful and amazing and calming all at once. It made me feel rather peaceful, after all is said and done. just- wonderful. A wonderful entry! [7,7,9]
5) Sheer Dumb Luck - Aha hah~ Oh, this was great! A wonderful mix of humor, smut, and angst~ I love the use of Legilimency and Snape's mind as a battlefield. Killing 'ol Voldie with sex was genius~ And Snape planning Moody's doom~ ha ha ha~ Wonderful! And this little bit "Then the voice said, You want him. Snape smirked. "I suppose so," he said. "Thanks to you." I had nothing to do with it, the voice whispered." Mwa ha ha~ ^-^ Snape's liked Harry all along~ I love that he thought to use his feelings for Harry against him and it backfired~ [7,7,8]
6) Good Auror, Bad Auror (or No One Expects The Snapish Inquisition) - Oh! This was so terribly funny! The image of Snape as an Auror is terrifying~ And i love his methods~ Ha ha~ So Snape-ish! Mmm, and sympathetic magics~ I love it~ This was delightfully humorous~ [8,9,9]
7) A Thing of Guile - Oh~ This was so sad and yet so terribly hopeful! I wanted to kill Malfoy when he raped Harry! Oh my god, and on top of Severus too! And enjoyed Severus threatening to end Bellatrix's life and i sincerely hope he does. The ending was so beautifully done we don't even need to actually see the final battle! I love all of the feelings and emotions that wash back over Severus and give him hope and a smile. [9,7,7]
8) Cymbidium - This was a nice story, i liked the fact that Harry had no idea who Severus was and how he kept going on about Albus. And his gardening was a nice touch. I wasn't terribly fond of the overall story, however. I didn't feel that there was a build of emotion. It was more just thrown in there. It wasn't poorly written, by no means no, but it didn't satisfy my want for emotional development, i guess. [6,5,5]
9) Fields Before Each Other - THIS is what i mean by emotional! Oh! I- Oh! This was so sad and touching and hot and wonderful! And- Oh! I want to reread this but i think i need to give it a while before i do! Just- Amazing! My heart is breaking for them! And poor Severus who has to live with the memories! Oh~ [8,9,8]
10) Surrendering The Mark - Oh my goodness! I am trying so hard not to cry right now, if only because my roommate will be back at any moment! As soon as Minerva said there were two wands in that box i just knew how this would all end~ This was so wonderfully tragic and unique and i absolutely adore the way it was written! The emotions flowing from this fic are just shredding my heart to pieces! Oh~ just- Oh! Harry not wanting to be found naked and Severus's determination to continue following Harry just killed me~ TT_TT Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! [9,7,9]
11) Muggle Woe - Gods! Much of this had me rolling around the floor with laughter! I mean, i know the genre was angst but parts of this were too funny! My first thoughts while reading this were "I'd love to be that teakettle!" Ha ha~ ^___^ Oooo~ The ending just had me hugging myself and wishing those two luck~ And Vernon/Mrs. Black! *dies* Just hilarious~ I kept waiting for him to explode over the fairly obvious Harry/Snape interactions going on in front of him, but whatever~ Wonderful story! Wonderful! [7,7,8]
12) Fidelitas - Oh~ I really liked this story! The idea behind it is just wonderful! I especially enjoyed Severus starring at Harry while he chatted with Draco~ The picture was lovely~ ha ha! And the killing of Voldemort and Dementors! ^___^ ~♥ A very cute, laid back story. Not exceptional, but not bad. Snape was a little too friendly IMO. [7,7,7]
13) In The Gloaming - Oh my goodness! This was absolutely the most wonderful fic i have read in a long time! Oh! The idea! The story! The magic! Everything was simply amazing! Just- I loved it all! I can't even pick a favorite part! Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I'm rereading this a million times! Gah~ The magical training was superbly done! And though i was a bit against the whole Dumbledore is alive thing, it grew on me. This is destined to be a classic! [9,9,9]
14) Night Watch - Oh my gods! this fic! X_____X ~♥ I was ready to weep for Harry and Severus's loss of each other, but that ending! That ending! Ahhh! I'm hugging myself right now! This was such a wonderful fic. Snape was so in character for me, it was lovely! And Harry wanting to be touched, and his failure to kill himself. And Voldemort winning the 'war' and that line!!!! I would have died for you @___@ OMG! Snape! SNAPE! *flails* [8,7,9]
15) The Remaining - I- wow. This was so- painful and yet- I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was amazing. My chest squeezed for the two of them. This was so melancholy and your Snape was wonderful! The kiss was just right for this story and those last few lines were perfect! perfect! This is what war is like and what it does to you. And the fact that Severus was the calm constant through it all just made this fic wonderful! [9,8,8]
16) The Path of Second Chances - Ooo~ I liked this a lot! The idea of the tests was lovely! And the personification of Death amused me to no end~ Ha ha~ The interaction between Harry and Severus just makes me grin like mad everytime~ And the ending! What an ending! I'd beg for a sequel but it doesn't even need one! Wonderful! I love that after teh Lust trial Death just throws in there that they love each other and therefore pass and neither seems to acknowledge this comment! It's either true or they're in denial~ And based on teh ending i'd like to think true! ^___^ ~♥ [8,6,8]
17) Out Of His Mind - Oh~ So chilling and surreal~ This was such an emotional fic here! Just- gah~ I can't even express properly how this made me feel! Lupin and Tonks! And Severus! His shouting at McG was just terrifying and perfect! And Harry wanting to be touched, to be saved and not being able to stop himself! Lovely! [8,7,7]
18) The Birth Of A New Age - Ooo. Wow. Wasn't expecting that. *mouth opens and closes several times* I- This was just amazing. Wow. I'm literally speachless. I was sure it was Dumbledore in the beginning and maybe Lupin watching, but Lupin didn't fit quite right. And I loved the dialouge between Harry and Severus!~ ^-^ Oh~ I hope someone stops this evil plot! [9,7,8]
19) Beacon - This was simply a marvelous fic! Just wonderful! The ideas behind it and just everything were perfect! I wasn't sure Harry was going to make it for a while but then Severus came and saved the day~ Ha ha ^-^ The potions were skillfully planned and Snapes little cues to Harry gave me a chuckle~ And the kiss- Mmmm~ Severus really is Harry's beacon of light, and light always shines brighter in darkness. Even though he's good, i loved the description and idea of Severus as the prince at Voldemort's side, his dark consort. Severus is so very brave and i'm glad Harry finally saw that! [7,7,8]
20) Aftertaste - Gods! This was hot and angsty and i am grinning from ear to ear! ^____________^ I loved the ritual and all of the "practice" Harry insisted they do~ The way they just came together so naturally at the beginning was lovely as well! That first sex scene was just so sensuous~ Guh~ I must say, i definitely have a button fetish after all of the Snarry i've read over the years! Ha ha! [9,8,9]
21) The Dance - Oh! Wicked, wicked, wonderful authors! Ah! Gods! This had me in tears! And then laughing with joy! Almost everything i love in a fic has been crammed into this! Just- Gah! Wonderful! Wonderful! I can't seem to say or think anything else! I also cant type a sentance without making spelling errors! I am an absolute sucker for forced bonding fics and shared magics which this fic did wonderfully! And the dancing! My gods, the dancing! I have been a dancer for twelve years so i have much love for it already, but the way it was used here was just- mindblowing! Amazing! Perfect! Lovely! Oh! I love Severus's anguish at his mate not accepting him and the fact that Eileen played a role in the fic~ And just- asdfksdk fk df ! X_______x ~♥ [9,9,9]
22) Every Wand He Ever Made - Ooo~ I love the idea of no one remembering the most famous boy hero alive! Except Snape, of course~ 8P This was wonderfully written. Harry's anguish at not being remembered was so very heartwrenching. Running into Ron after the wards had been dropped was so terribly sad! The feelings and emotions in this fic were so well conveyed! And i was just as surprised as Harry and Severus by that kiss! I'm so glad things look like they'll work out! ^___^ [8,8,8]
23) Be Good and Don't Make A Sound - Wow. I'm not sure what to think about this. This is definitely one of those fics i find my self remembering at odd times thoughout the day; little section coming to my mind at random intervals. I loved Harry going to the attic just because James forbid it, and his promise to Severus. The small moments of touching made me want them to just lunge at each other, but als, it did not happen~ TT_TT This was a unique take on the Chain of Command prompt! One i'd never have thought of~ [8,8,5]
24) Mind the Gap - Ah ha ha~ Lovely! I have a feeling i'm going to burst out laughing the instant i set foot in the tube~ And gods, do i sympathize with Harry for having to deal with idiots all day. You would think people would have more common sense then they seem to show! This was wonderfully written and the train sex- Guh! Ha ha~ ^__^ I was so sure they were going to get caught! I loved Severus comment on counting as well~ Tell the next one that you are unable to help, as adequate numeracy is a prerequisite for utilising magical trains. Fu fu fu~ [8,8,8]
25) The Peace Pipe - Ah ha ha~ ^___^ I love the tribal names~ Twinkles like a Shiny Sickle! Lovely~ And all of the lessons! Wonderful! And so unique! I enjoyed the fact that Voldie seemed convinced that Snape and Harry were lovers~ The idea of anger being transferred with a kiss was an interesting idea! One i'd like to see used elsewhere as well~ An excellent story with an odd twist! [8,7,7]
26) The Potter Curse - Oh! My! Just- Amazingly wonderful! Ahh! I can't stop laughing and grinning from ear to ear! I'm frightening my friends, actually. Ha ha~ ^____^ I absolutely loved this! Severus being convinced that he's cursed and Harry playing along! The story at the end about the Chamber and the mysterious sex ritual! And Slughorn! @___@ Oh, what a lovely addition! Ha ha! I love Snape's so obvious jealousy and lust over Harry and the fact that he's so clueless about it~ Goodness! This whole thing was so silly, and wonderfully fun! I will most assuredly reread this about a hundred times! ^______^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
27) Help Wanted: God and Executioner - I- have no words. This was amazing! Absolutely wonderful! The emotions and everything were just- overwhelming at times, but so very, very perfect. Snape and Harry were written exactly right! Their interactions, and arguing, -and sex of course- were lovely! I have so much more to express but i just can't seem to put it into words~ This was perfect! Perfect! ♥ All of the little details just grabbed me and pulled me in! The scotch! Snape's hands and voice! The sleeping positions!!!! Gah~ Amazing! [9,8,9]
28) All For Wand And Wand For All - Ee hee hee~ ^___^ This was just lovely and heartwarming~ Oh~ lovely! They really do argue like an old married couple! And i love that it was Dobby putting the curses on the house! Not what i was expecting! This was a lovely fic -i seem to be using that word a lot~ Lovely! Lovely!- And Bill and Charlie knowing Harry's crushing on Snape~ Ah~ So very enjoyable! [8,8,8]
29) When Angels Fall - *gasps* This was wonderful! So sad but at the same time just right. It was one of those 'getting there' fics that i love so much; The build up to something more between those two! I must say- He made a fist and punched Snape right in his mouth. God, the satisfaction was nearly overwhelming. Better than chocolate. He’d never have a problem repelling Dementors ever again. = greatest line ever! A wonderful entry! And Hey! We never did find out who Snape's first was! Ha ha~ [8,9,8]
30) Cost Of Living - I liked this a lot! More than a lot! And Sansa is such a wonderful writer! Such an interesting and unique idea and wonderfully written! The mood is just- i can't think of a proper way of expressing how it made me feel. It was perfect, in any case. I loved Harry's chair being added to the garden and Snape apparating up the tree~ The way time passed left me with a strange sense of things. There were so many memorable scenes in this! I'm sure i'll be recalling them all day~ Lovely! ♥ [8,8,9]
31) The Last Horcrux - Ah ha ha~ Wonderful! A lovely end to the saga~ Oh, poor Hermione. I hope she gets over it soon~ ^__^ The last few lines just killed me! "Coffee? Dinner?" "Sex?" Lovely~ And Harry and Ron arguing over who gets to burn the damn thing! Ah~♥ [6,9,8]
32) Barmy - Ooooohhhhh~ ^__________^ I love the feeling to this so much! This was ridiculously wonderful! The way Snape and Harry interact is lovely~ There is so much in this that i adored! Snape's amazement at finding talking to Harry works in the beginning. Harry healing without knowing how. The final battle! Snape SINGING! Oh~ And just so much more! Lovely! Perfect! [9,8,9]
33) Truth, Like Light - Lovely~ This was such a wonderful read~ I adored the spider watching over Harry and the combining of his and Severus's magics. The ending was cryptic but still wonderful~ My original thought was that Severus had been de-aged to when he was first marked~ ^__^ In either case, it was lovely! And the final battle! @___@ I loved the use of both wands! [8,9,8]
34) Laws of Magnetic Attraction - Mm~ I loved this AU! Such a unique idea~ The ending was just lovely~ "This isn't fucking or arguing," he pointed out. I had to grin at that! The idea of Harry as a pilot just tickles my fancy~ And him buying Hermione gloves every Christmas~ Ha ha! Oh, Harry! Where would you be without Severus there to guide you? [8,8,8]
35) The Red Cloak - Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I love the feeling to this! The way its written and- just- everything! The apple! The red cloak! The pensieve potion! Harry and Severus almost kissing! Ah~ I can just feel the emotions wanting to be let loose~ This was so enjoyable to read! Ah~ I hope they make it through the war together!*fingers crossed* [9,9,9]
36) 52 Hours - Ah ha ha~ Oh, this was lovely! ^____^ Ron's suspicion is just perfect. I love the idea of the bees and watching from photographs~ And the pumpkin jar! Oh that had me laughing! ^___^ This Snape and Harry are just wonderfully written and their love makes me all warm and fuzzy~ And the ending, priceless! [8,7,8]
37) Two Lockets - I- have no words for how amazing this is! Just- wow! There's so much i love! The candles following Harry and the snake ladle chatting up Severus! The destruction of the horcruxes! Harry wrapped up in the family tree! I think one of my favorite bits was Severus described as a storm. It just hit me as being absolutely perfect and so fitting. And the books! My gods! This has my love of books down pat! Just- I would kill to be able to interact with my own books in such a way that Severus and Regulus did! I'm so addicted to the little buggers! ^___^ I could happily waste away in that library in Grimmauld Place~ And the ending! The ending had me laughing and grinning and frightening the neighbors! Wonderful! [9,9,9]
38) Wizarding Fairy Tales - Ah ha ha~ I loved this soooo~ much! ^_____^ I adore fairy tales and so throwing in some lovely Snarry only made them better! This had such a creative twist on all of the classic tales and i had a good long laugh as soon as i saw where each of them were going! Little Red Riding Hood had me in stitches and i was pleasantly surprised at the turn Jack and the Beanstalk took~ Snape as Sleeping Beauty was priceless! Priceless! Gods, i can't stop laughing! All in all a wonderful fic that i'm sure i'll reread a thousand times! Ahh~ My cheeks hurt from grinning so much~ ^__________^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
39) Just Another Soldier in the War - This was such an interesting story~ I wasn't quite sure how everything was going to turn out in the end but it was lovely! Harry and Severus's emotions came though so wonderfully in this! It was so heartwrenching at times! I loved all of the recruits being in on the whole Harry/Severus thing and giving him a hard time about it~ And the ending had me smiling and hopeful! Wonderful~ [8,8,9]
40) A Conscious Choice - A lovely fic~ I enjoyed the apparation and Severus's difficulty with the long distance~ And Harry's banishing him to his hotel without a word~ I'd have to say the bit that got me the most was Hedwig and the letter. Are you happy? I think that's what i love most in Snarry fics; those two being happy with one another. [7,8,7]
41) Morior Animus - This is the only Snarry fic i have read other than IYAP that has made me cry. My gods! This was so painful and sad and wonderful and i just can't stop tearing up~ My heart is just aching for Severus! And for Harry! The emotions were so well written and even right up to the very end i was hoping for that happy ending. But you know, i don't think it would have been as satisfying if it did. Day Ninety. It came and went. This started it all. I was against crying from the start, but this set me off. I couldn't hold it in anymore. One short, small line reduced me to tears. I was weeping when Minerva and Molly came to visit Snape and learning that Severus still went and read every night just had me crying harder. But him throwing that book into the fire ripped my heart out! I- Just- Ah! It was so painful, and emotional, and i'm so very glad i read it despite all of that! It was such a well crafted fic! Just- I can't even properly express myself! Amazing! Wonderful! Insert every praiseworthy comment you can think of here! Gods! As soon as i can stand to, i'm rereading this! [9,9,9]
42) Hermione's Diverson (or How Harry Potter was Kicked Out of the Closet) - Eh heh heh~ a lovely use of the prompt, i must say~ ^___^ The way the thestrals are described almost makes me want one as well~ I loved Ron popping up at the end as well! ^-^ [7,8,6]
43) Stranger Than You Dreamt It - Eh hee hee~ I liked this quite a bit~ ^____^ Oh, i hadn't even thought of Dobby getting them out! I loved the use of dreams to get Harry to trust Snape and their little encounters that seemed to involve an awful lot of stripping~ Not that i'm complaining~ ^___^ ~♥ [6,9,8]
44) Fifty Days - I am giggling like a schoolgirl~ Ah~ This was just absolutely lovely! ^____^ I adored Harry's attempts at wooing Snape! "No. Yes. No. I-- Sure. Why the hell not?" This line just had me in fits~ Oh, Harry~ The burning of newspapers was a great way to mark Snape's growing ease with the idea, too~ Snape asked after Potter's plans to kindly shut the hell up. Gah~ There are so many quotable lines in this! Ohh~ Just wonderful! [9,8,9]
45) ...Or Are You Just Happy to See Me? - Eh heh heh~ This was wonderfully perverse! I adored the singing of A Wizard's Wand has a Knob on the End! And i can't help but feel a bit sorry for that poor Dementor~ He certainly got more than he bargained for~ ^__^ This was an interesting take on the prompt~ It makes me wonder what would happen if Harry actually did cast Avada Kedavra with that wand~ Death due to extreme pleasure? [8,8,7]
46) Amphisbaena - The images of Snape sliced open and bleeding at the end were frighteningly well done. I just kept hoping that he'd make out all right in the end~ I love that the opening scene takes place after everything else, as well. Going back to read it after finishing the fic was oddly pleasing~ [8,5,6]
47) The Impossibility of Crows - Ooooh~ This was delightfully mysterious and just wonderful in general! I loved the paintings and Harry's responses to Severus telling him who he is~ There were just so many wonderful moments for me! As a reward for proving the existence of your solitary brain cell, I won’t even make you wait until you break a bottle. That whole scene had me chuckling madly~ ^___^ And i adored the idea of Buenaventura's lab not having any walls! What a unique room that would be! The switch between first and third person was interesting and just right for this fic. With Harry's inability to remember just who he is it makes sense to not use "I" for himself. I'm sure this is a fic that will keep me thinking long after i've finished it. [8,7,8]
48) The Trial of Henri Blanc - Ahh! Oh my goodness! There is so much about this fic that i absolutely love! Oh~ I don't even know where to start! The idea behind the entire thing is amazing! Its such a unique and interesting idea! To be able to take someone's memories and live their life! I have so much love for your Snape but also for Henri~ And i absolutely hated Harry in the beginning of this~ ha ha~ I was constantly shouting at my computer screen, wondering what Harry thought he was doing! But in the end i just wanted to cradle him and make things better~ When we got information about Henri Blanc it was like a flashback from my summer! I spent a few weeks in France, the start of my trip in Besancon, and i have very fond memories from there. I adored the ending to this, as well~ Snape regaining himself in Grimmauld Place and giving Harry release; his explaining they're unique! And then when Harry found Snape again. My name is Antoine Girard. And Snape's last line. You're forgiven. Perfect! There's so much more i want to add~ This story was amazing and breathtaking and just perfect down to the last detail. It is works like this that make me love my fandom and my ship. ♥[9,9,9]
49) Act of Faith - oh wow~ That was- wow. Such a different AU from most i've read! I must say, i loved the names and Hagrid making an appearance at the end~ I was wondering a bit in the beginning what was up with Isabel, but then her visiting 'Father Tomas' and him calling her 'Bella' had me grinning~ [8,9,8]
50) The Broken Boy - Guh~ Wow. Oh! I- I'm speechless! This was just- amazing! It was so raw and frustrating and just right! I can't hold it against Harry for wanting to forget! What a terrible place the wizarding world would be if this ever happened! I adored how much Severus cared for Harry, especially when it came to the sex scene. It would have been so easy to have turned this story down a completely different path. A lovely fic! Excellent! [9,8,9]
51) When the Soul Goes Hungry - Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I loved this so much and it was such a believable story! Its so easy to think that Harry would find some way to escape the reality the wizarding world has set out for him. I had a nice giggle when Harry first tried the Daydream Charm and was in a dress~ Snape was oh so lovely and the bit with the Order of Merlin just had me grinning! "It was lighter when we shared it." "We will again." Lovely~ [8,8,9]
52) Shades of Grey - Oooo~ A lovely entry! So angsty! I adore ambiguous!Snape and his refusal to let Harry know anything. And I love the idea of pensieves and so any fics containing them just snag my interest from the get go~ Of course, Harry can never learn to keep his nose out of other people's business~ "What is it about you and Pensieves?” “They’re shiny! How could I resist?” This had me laughing hysterically~ It was a nice change to have a fic in the games that was an established relationship for once~ [8,8,8]
53) Upon the Matter Of Britain - Ooo~ I liked the tie in to the legends! And Bush!Merlin had me chuckling a bit~ I really am surprised Snape didn't set it on fire despite everything! There was a bit too much non-Snarry in this fic for me to truely adore it, but it was lovely nonetheless. [8,8,6]
54) (These Are the) Days of Our Lives - Hmmm~ A very interesting AU~ Not something that really sucked me in, but decent. I enjoyed tha fact that Lily was still alive and interacting with Harry. I'd have liked more Snarry in this as the bit at the beginning is all we really got. [6,6,4]
55) All of Those Days - I've been sitting here in silence trying to think of a way to put down in words how this fic moved me. After ten minutes, i'm still speechless. Just- Wow. Amazing! The beginning was so compelling it just sucked me in! I was hooked from the first paragraph. The interactions between Harry and Severus/Shadow were lovely! Everything about this fic was lovely! It's such an eerie, but plausible idea that Harry would be swayed or converted to the side of Darkness and this version of things was so very believable. I love how Harry's affection for Severus grows but isn't ridiculously sappy or obvious. And the way he still calls him Shadow even after learning his real name! >___< ~♥ [8,8,9]
56) Shell Shock - Oh! That last little bit! Just perfect! Ahhhh~ >____< ~♥ This was a lovely fic! I adored Severus and his conversations with Albus~ As well as his interactions with Harry! The sex was wonderfully done and i Harry stumbling over saying Severus was just right! Ahh~ It really is those last lines that bring it all together~ [8,7,8]
57) Doppio - This had me smiling in so many places! A very unique look at the search for the horcruxes! I loved the color coded wall of clues; It's so very Hermione~ And Harry and Severus at the ending was just wonderful! I was thinking earlier about Quidditch. *snorts* That's so very Harry like! 58) The Memory Box - A lovely take on the prompt of King's Cross~ It was rather funny considering i'm now in London~ It was a bit too much non-Snarry but still lovely. The whole Ron/Luna thing kind of bothered me, but whatever~ Soleil was a nice addition however. [7,7,7]
59) Forsaking All Others - Ah! Wonderful! I absolutely loved this! Oh~ Harry and Severus were both just right for me! And the ending! I adored the ending! I'm such a sucker for bonding fics or fics in which Harry and Severus are stuck with one another. Usually i'm all for the accidental version of this, but the purposeful version is just as good~ Gaaah~ I just love the feelings this fic left me with! [8,7,9]
60) Our Sanctuary - I can just see Harry wondering what he'd do after the war ends and he's survived, and this version of that was nice. This fic started out wonderfully and then just seemed to run out of steam and fall back on cliche. The author seemed either very new to writing fanfic or just ran out of ideas after such a lovely opening. [2,5,2]
61) If This Be Error - Gods! This was wonderful! I am dying! There are so many quotable lines in this i couldn't even begin to list them all! I adore how the bond came about (I'm a sucker for accidental/forced bonding fics~) and the wanking-summons! >___< The interactions between Harry and Severus were just lovely! And the sex and and the ending were all just perfect! "Admit it, Snape," Harry said, feeling behind him for the doorknob that was jammed into his kidneys. "We had sex and you liked it." Harry flung open the door to find most of the Order assembled in the corridor, open mouthed and frozen in the midst of their preparations. ^___^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
62) Carnal Knowledge - Amazing! Wonderful! Perfect! *dies of love* This was just- guh~ hot! "Make me want you," he challenged, leaning in to nip at Harry's jaw before licking his way up to Harry's ear. "Make me desperate." *fans herself* I found myself alternately holding my breath in anticipation and laughing at the wonderful snarkyness of Severus! [9,8,9]
63) Can't Take The Sky - Oh! Just- oh! That ending! That ending! Ah~~~ I- *flusters* I'm- speechless! Wow. This was so very heartbreaking and wonderful and so many things all at once! I adored Eileen and her divination~ And Harry and Severus were so lovely and tragic and perfect! I think my heart exploded completely at this: "Sweet?" "Life usually is." "It hurts!" "Yes," Severus said. "Living does." Just- It sums this fic and their story up so well and it pains me that its true. Gah~ A wonderful addition to the games! [9,8,8]
64) The Living Years - Ahh~ This is turning out to be an amazing birthday for me~ It can't get much better than being in London, having some Snarry, and reading a lovely fic by Delta~ I've been waiting for this fic to pop up and I just adored this so much! I love the whole de-aged idea and this was such a wonderful take on it! Most of the fics i've read have eventually returned them to their regular ages or thereabouts through magic but i enjoyed the way that we got to see the two grow older naturally. As well as getting to see the usual Snarry older/younger dynamic turned on its head! This Severus was just wonderful and i want so badly to squeeze this jealous!noble!Harry~ A lovely end to an equally lovely fest! [9,8,9]

1) No Way Back - I loved this~ It was wonderfully written and i didn't mind that it was a bit long. I'm just a sucker for time travel-ish stuff. And i adore Mirror of Maybe~ I wish that would be updated a little more frequently~ In any case, i very much enjoyed this fic. From McG's catching on to Harry's Snapey love and offering him a drink in her office to Flitwick's crazy suspicion. And the whole Hermione and Ron getting injured thing. Oh! Oh! And the way that it started before book 6 and managed to incorporate many of the big events while still keeping to the wonderfully believable AU~ And Snape as a passionate lover just tickles my fancy. He really wanted to please~ He was a bit OOC for me but lovely nonetheless. [6,7,8]
2) Magnificent Penetration - This was a wonderful piece~ The ending gave me such a happy squeeful feeling~ I enjoyed the games and bets Harry and Severus made for sex and the fact that Neville was the one to help Severus while trying to retrieve Harry! ^__^ [7,7,8]
3) Covenant - I am gasping at how wonderful this is! Oh~ What a cliffhanger of an ending! I love it! The feelings in this just send shivers down my back! And i love that Snape has a rook for an animagus. And the line at the end! "...he stares at Harry. In fear. Not of Voldemort, not of death - but as though finally having something to live for might break him" Oh~ It was angsty and enigmatic and just- guh! I can't even properly express how this made me feel! [9,9,9]
4) Vision in Colour - This entry left me speechless. It was sad and mournful and amazing and calming all at once. It made me feel rather peaceful, after all is said and done. just- wonderful. A wonderful entry! [7,7,9]
5) Sheer Dumb Luck - Aha hah~ Oh, this was great! A wonderful mix of humor, smut, and angst~ I love the use of Legilimency and Snape's mind as a battlefield. Killing 'ol Voldie with sex was genius~ And Snape planning Moody's doom~ ha ha ha~ Wonderful! And this little bit "Then the voice said, You want him. Snape smirked. "I suppose so," he said. "Thanks to you." I had nothing to do with it, the voice whispered." Mwa ha ha~ ^-^ Snape's liked Harry all along~ I love that he thought to use his feelings for Harry against him and it backfired~ [7,7,8]
6) Good Auror, Bad Auror (or No One Expects The Snapish Inquisition) - Oh! This was so terribly funny! The image of Snape as an Auror is terrifying~ And i love his methods~ Ha ha~ So Snape-ish! Mmm, and sympathetic magics~ I love it~ This was delightfully humorous~ [8,9,9]
7) A Thing of Guile - Oh~ This was so sad and yet so terribly hopeful! I wanted to kill Malfoy when he raped Harry! Oh my god, and on top of Severus too! And enjoyed Severus threatening to end Bellatrix's life and i sincerely hope he does. The ending was so beautifully done we don't even need to actually see the final battle! I love all of the feelings and emotions that wash back over Severus and give him hope and a smile. [9,7,7]
8) Cymbidium - This was a nice story, i liked the fact that Harry had no idea who Severus was and how he kept going on about Albus. And his gardening was a nice touch. I wasn't terribly fond of the overall story, however. I didn't feel that there was a build of emotion. It was more just thrown in there. It wasn't poorly written, by no means no, but it didn't satisfy my want for emotional development, i guess. [6,5,5]
9) Fields Before Each Other - THIS is what i mean by emotional! Oh! I- Oh! This was so sad and touching and hot and wonderful! And- Oh! I want to reread this but i think i need to give it a while before i do! Just- Amazing! My heart is breaking for them! And poor Severus who has to live with the memories! Oh~ [8,9,8]
10) Surrendering The Mark - Oh my goodness! I am trying so hard not to cry right now, if only because my roommate will be back at any moment! As soon as Minerva said there were two wands in that box i just knew how this would all end~ This was so wonderfully tragic and unique and i absolutely adore the way it was written! The emotions flowing from this fic are just shredding my heart to pieces! Oh~ just- Oh! Harry not wanting to be found naked and Severus's determination to continue following Harry just killed me~ TT_TT Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! [9,7,9]
11) Muggle Woe - Gods! Much of this had me rolling around the floor with laughter! I mean, i know the genre was angst but parts of this were too funny! My first thoughts while reading this were "I'd love to be that teakettle!" Ha ha~ ^___^ Oooo~ The ending just had me hugging myself and wishing those two luck~ And Vernon/Mrs. Black! *dies* Just hilarious~ I kept waiting for him to explode over the fairly obvious Harry/Snape interactions going on in front of him, but whatever~ Wonderful story! Wonderful! [7,7,8]
12) Fidelitas - Oh~ I really liked this story! The idea behind it is just wonderful! I especially enjoyed Severus starring at Harry while he chatted with Draco~ The picture was lovely~ ha ha! And the killing of Voldemort and Dementors! ^___^ ~♥ A very cute, laid back story. Not exceptional, but not bad. Snape was a little too friendly IMO. [7,7,7]
13) In The Gloaming - Oh my goodness! This was absolutely the most wonderful fic i have read in a long time! Oh! The idea! The story! The magic! Everything was simply amazing! Just- I loved it all! I can't even pick a favorite part! Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I'm rereading this a million times! Gah~ The magical training was superbly done! And though i was a bit against the whole Dumbledore is alive thing, it grew on me. This is destined to be a classic! [9,9,9]
14) Night Watch - Oh my gods! this fic! X_____X ~♥ I was ready to weep for Harry and Severus's loss of each other, but that ending! That ending! Ahhh! I'm hugging myself right now! This was such a wonderful fic. Snape was so in character for me, it was lovely! And Harry wanting to be touched, and his failure to kill himself. And Voldemort winning the 'war' and that line!!!! I would have died for you @___@ OMG! Snape! SNAPE! *flails* [8,7,9]
15) The Remaining - I- wow. This was so- painful and yet- I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was amazing. My chest squeezed for the two of them. This was so melancholy and your Snape was wonderful! The kiss was just right for this story and those last few lines were perfect! perfect! This is what war is like and what it does to you. And the fact that Severus was the calm constant through it all just made this fic wonderful! [9,8,8]
16) The Path of Second Chances - Ooo~ I liked this a lot! The idea of the tests was lovely! And the personification of Death amused me to no end~ Ha ha~ The interaction between Harry and Severus just makes me grin like mad everytime~ And the ending! What an ending! I'd beg for a sequel but it doesn't even need one! Wonderful! I love that after teh Lust trial Death just throws in there that they love each other and therefore pass and neither seems to acknowledge this comment! It's either true or they're in denial~ And based on teh ending i'd like to think true! ^___^ ~♥ [8,6,8]
17) Out Of His Mind - Oh~ So chilling and surreal~ This was such an emotional fic here! Just- gah~ I can't even express properly how this made me feel! Lupin and Tonks! And Severus! His shouting at McG was just terrifying and perfect! And Harry wanting to be touched, to be saved and not being able to stop himself! Lovely! [8,7,7]
18) The Birth Of A New Age - Ooo. Wow. Wasn't expecting that. *mouth opens and closes several times* I- This was just amazing. Wow. I'm literally speachless. I was sure it was Dumbledore in the beginning and maybe Lupin watching, but Lupin didn't fit quite right. And I loved the dialouge between Harry and Severus!~ ^-^ Oh~ I hope someone stops this evil plot! [9,7,8]
19) Beacon - This was simply a marvelous fic! Just wonderful! The ideas behind it and just everything were perfect! I wasn't sure Harry was going to make it for a while but then Severus came and saved the day~ Ha ha ^-^ The potions were skillfully planned and Snapes little cues to Harry gave me a chuckle~ And the kiss- Mmmm~ Severus really is Harry's beacon of light, and light always shines brighter in darkness. Even though he's good, i loved the description and idea of Severus as the prince at Voldemort's side, his dark consort. Severus is so very brave and i'm glad Harry finally saw that! [7,7,8]
20) Aftertaste - Gods! This was hot and angsty and i am grinning from ear to ear! ^____________^ I loved the ritual and all of the "practice" Harry insisted they do~ The way they just came together so naturally at the beginning was lovely as well! That first sex scene was just so sensuous~ Guh~ I must say, i definitely have a button fetish after all of the Snarry i've read over the years! Ha ha! [9,8,9]
21) The Dance - Oh! Wicked, wicked, wonderful authors! Ah! Gods! This had me in tears! And then laughing with joy! Almost everything i love in a fic has been crammed into this! Just- Gah! Wonderful! Wonderful! I can't seem to say or think anything else! I also cant type a sentance without making spelling errors! I am an absolute sucker for forced bonding fics and shared magics which this fic did wonderfully! And the dancing! My gods, the dancing! I have been a dancer for twelve years so i have much love for it already, but the way it was used here was just- mindblowing! Amazing! Perfect! Lovely! Oh! I love Severus's anguish at his mate not accepting him and the fact that Eileen played a role in the fic~ And just- asdfksdk fk df ! X_______x ~♥ [9,9,9]
22) Every Wand He Ever Made - Ooo~ I love the idea of no one remembering the most famous boy hero alive! Except Snape, of course~ 8P This was wonderfully written. Harry's anguish at not being remembered was so very heartwrenching. Running into Ron after the wards had been dropped was so terribly sad! The feelings and emotions in this fic were so well conveyed! And i was just as surprised as Harry and Severus by that kiss! I'm so glad things look like they'll work out! ^___^ [8,8,8]
23) Be Good and Don't Make A Sound - Wow. I'm not sure what to think about this. This is definitely one of those fics i find my self remembering at odd times thoughout the day; little section coming to my mind at random intervals. I loved Harry going to the attic just because James forbid it, and his promise to Severus. The small moments of touching made me want them to just lunge at each other, but als, it did not happen~ TT_TT This was a unique take on the Chain of Command prompt! One i'd never have thought of~ [8,8,5]
24) Mind the Gap - Ah ha ha~ Lovely! I have a feeling i'm going to burst out laughing the instant i set foot in the tube~ And gods, do i sympathize with Harry for having to deal with idiots all day. You would think people would have more common sense then they seem to show! This was wonderfully written and the train sex- Guh! Ha ha~ ^__^ I was so sure they were going to get caught! I loved Severus comment on counting as well~ Tell the next one that you are unable to help, as adequate numeracy is a prerequisite for utilising magical trains. Fu fu fu~ [8,8,8]
25) The Peace Pipe - Ah ha ha~ ^___^ I love the tribal names~ Twinkles like a Shiny Sickle! Lovely~ And all of the lessons! Wonderful! And so unique! I enjoyed the fact that Voldie seemed convinced that Snape and Harry were lovers~ The idea of anger being transferred with a kiss was an interesting idea! One i'd like to see used elsewhere as well~ An excellent story with an odd twist! [8,7,7]
26) The Potter Curse - Oh! My! Just- Amazingly wonderful! Ahh! I can't stop laughing and grinning from ear to ear! I'm frightening my friends, actually. Ha ha~ ^____^ I absolutely loved this! Severus being convinced that he's cursed and Harry playing along! The story at the end about the Chamber and the mysterious sex ritual! And Slughorn! @___@ Oh, what a lovely addition! Ha ha! I love Snape's so obvious jealousy and lust over Harry and the fact that he's so clueless about it~ Goodness! This whole thing was so silly, and wonderfully fun! I will most assuredly reread this about a hundred times! ^______^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
27) Help Wanted: God and Executioner - I- have no words. This was amazing! Absolutely wonderful! The emotions and everything were just- overwhelming at times, but so very, very perfect. Snape and Harry were written exactly right! Their interactions, and arguing, -and sex of course- were lovely! I have so much more to express but i just can't seem to put it into words~ This was perfect! Perfect! ♥ All of the little details just grabbed me and pulled me in! The scotch! Snape's hands and voice! The sleeping positions!!!! Gah~ Amazing! [9,8,9]
28) All For Wand And Wand For All - Ee hee hee~ ^___^ This was just lovely and heartwarming~ Oh~ lovely! They really do argue like an old married couple! And i love that it was Dobby putting the curses on the house! Not what i was expecting! This was a lovely fic -i seem to be using that word a lot~ Lovely! Lovely!- And Bill and Charlie knowing Harry's crushing on Snape~ Ah~ So very enjoyable! [8,8,8]
29) When Angels Fall - *gasps* This was wonderful! So sad but at the same time just right. It was one of those 'getting there' fics that i love so much; The build up to something more between those two! I must say- He made a fist and punched Snape right in his mouth. God, the satisfaction was nearly overwhelming. Better than chocolate. He’d never have a problem repelling Dementors ever again. = greatest line ever! A wonderful entry! And Hey! We never did find out who Snape's first was! Ha ha~ [8,9,8]
30) Cost Of Living - I liked this a lot! More than a lot! And Sansa is such a wonderful writer! Such an interesting and unique idea and wonderfully written! The mood is just- i can't think of a proper way of expressing how it made me feel. It was perfect, in any case. I loved Harry's chair being added to the garden and Snape apparating up the tree~ The way time passed left me with a strange sense of things. There were so many memorable scenes in this! I'm sure i'll be recalling them all day~ Lovely! ♥ [8,8,9]
31) The Last Horcrux - Ah ha ha~ Wonderful! A lovely end to the saga~ Oh, poor Hermione. I hope she gets over it soon~ ^__^ The last few lines just killed me! "Coffee? Dinner?" "Sex?" Lovely~ And Harry and Ron arguing over who gets to burn the damn thing! Ah~♥ [6,9,8]
32) Barmy - Ooooohhhhh~ ^__________^ I love the feeling to this so much! This was ridiculously wonderful! The way Snape and Harry interact is lovely~ There is so much in this that i adored! Snape's amazement at finding talking to Harry works in the beginning. Harry healing without knowing how. The final battle! Snape SINGING! Oh~ And just so much more! Lovely! Perfect! [9,8,9]
33) Truth, Like Light - Lovely~ This was such a wonderful read~ I adored the spider watching over Harry and the combining of his and Severus's magics. The ending was cryptic but still wonderful~ My original thought was that Severus had been de-aged to when he was first marked~ ^__^ In either case, it was lovely! And the final battle! @___@ I loved the use of both wands! [8,9,8]
34) Laws of Magnetic Attraction - Mm~ I loved this AU! Such a unique idea~ The ending was just lovely~ "This isn't fucking or arguing," he pointed out. I had to grin at that! The idea of Harry as a pilot just tickles my fancy~ And him buying Hermione gloves every Christmas~ Ha ha! Oh, Harry! Where would you be without Severus there to guide you? [8,8,8]
35) The Red Cloak - Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I love the feeling to this! The way its written and- just- everything! The apple! The red cloak! The pensieve potion! Harry and Severus almost kissing! Ah~ I can just feel the emotions wanting to be let loose~ This was so enjoyable to read! Ah~ I hope they make it through the war together!*fingers crossed* [9,9,9]
36) 52 Hours - Ah ha ha~ Oh, this was lovely! ^____^ Ron's suspicion is just perfect. I love the idea of the bees and watching from photographs~ And the pumpkin jar! Oh that had me laughing! ^___^ This Snape and Harry are just wonderfully written and their love makes me all warm and fuzzy~ And the ending, priceless! [8,7,8]
37) Two Lockets - I- have no words for how amazing this is! Just- wow! There's so much i love! The candles following Harry and the snake ladle chatting up Severus! The destruction of the horcruxes! Harry wrapped up in the family tree! I think one of my favorite bits was Severus described as a storm. It just hit me as being absolutely perfect and so fitting. And the books! My gods! This has my love of books down pat! Just- I would kill to be able to interact with my own books in such a way that Severus and Regulus did! I'm so addicted to the little buggers! ^___^ I could happily waste away in that library in Grimmauld Place~ And the ending! The ending had me laughing and grinning and frightening the neighbors! Wonderful! [9,9,9]
38) Wizarding Fairy Tales - Ah ha ha~ I loved this soooo~ much! ^_____^ I adore fairy tales and so throwing in some lovely Snarry only made them better! This had such a creative twist on all of the classic tales and i had a good long laugh as soon as i saw where each of them were going! Little Red Riding Hood had me in stitches and i was pleasantly surprised at the turn Jack and the Beanstalk took~ Snape as Sleeping Beauty was priceless! Priceless! Gods, i can't stop laughing! All in all a wonderful fic that i'm sure i'll reread a thousand times! Ahh~ My cheeks hurt from grinning so much~ ^__________^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
39) Just Another Soldier in the War - This was such an interesting story~ I wasn't quite sure how everything was going to turn out in the end but it was lovely! Harry and Severus's emotions came though so wonderfully in this! It was so heartwrenching at times! I loved all of the recruits being in on the whole Harry/Severus thing and giving him a hard time about it~ And the ending had me smiling and hopeful! Wonderful~ [8,8,9]
40) A Conscious Choice - A lovely fic~ I enjoyed the apparation and Severus's difficulty with the long distance~ And Harry's banishing him to his hotel without a word~ I'd have to say the bit that got me the most was Hedwig and the letter. Are you happy? I think that's what i love most in Snarry fics; those two being happy with one another. [7,8,7]
41) Morior Animus - This is the only Snarry fic i have read other than IYAP that has made me cry. My gods! This was so painful and sad and wonderful and i just can't stop tearing up~ My heart is just aching for Severus! And for Harry! The emotions were so well written and even right up to the very end i was hoping for that happy ending. But you know, i don't think it would have been as satisfying if it did. Day Ninety. It came and went. This started it all. I was against crying from the start, but this set me off. I couldn't hold it in anymore. One short, small line reduced me to tears. I was weeping when Minerva and Molly came to visit Snape and learning that Severus still went and read every night just had me crying harder. But him throwing that book into the fire ripped my heart out! I- Just- Ah! It was so painful, and emotional, and i'm so very glad i read it despite all of that! It was such a well crafted fic! Just- I can't even properly express myself! Amazing! Wonderful! Insert every praiseworthy comment you can think of here! Gods! As soon as i can stand to, i'm rereading this! [9,9,9]
42) Hermione's Diverson (or How Harry Potter was Kicked Out of the Closet) - Eh heh heh~ a lovely use of the prompt, i must say~ ^___^ The way the thestrals are described almost makes me want one as well~ I loved Ron popping up at the end as well! ^-^ [7,8,6]
43) Stranger Than You Dreamt It - Eh hee hee~ I liked this quite a bit~ ^____^ Oh, i hadn't even thought of Dobby getting them out! I loved the use of dreams to get Harry to trust Snape and their little encounters that seemed to involve an awful lot of stripping~ Not that i'm complaining~ ^___^ ~♥ [6,9,8]
44) Fifty Days - I am giggling like a schoolgirl~ Ah~ This was just absolutely lovely! ^____^ I adored Harry's attempts at wooing Snape! "No. Yes. No. I-- Sure. Why the hell not?" This line just had me in fits~ Oh, Harry~ The burning of newspapers was a great way to mark Snape's growing ease with the idea, too~ Snape asked after Potter's plans to kindly shut the hell up. Gah~ There are so many quotable lines in this! Ohh~ Just wonderful! [9,8,9]
45) ...Or Are You Just Happy to See Me? - Eh heh heh~ This was wonderfully perverse! I adored the singing of A Wizard's Wand has a Knob on the End! And i can't help but feel a bit sorry for that poor Dementor~ He certainly got more than he bargained for~ ^__^ This was an interesting take on the prompt~ It makes me wonder what would happen if Harry actually did cast Avada Kedavra with that wand~ Death due to extreme pleasure? [8,8,7]
46) Amphisbaena - The images of Snape sliced open and bleeding at the end were frighteningly well done. I just kept hoping that he'd make out all right in the end~ I love that the opening scene takes place after everything else, as well. Going back to read it after finishing the fic was oddly pleasing~ [8,5,6]
47) The Impossibility of Crows - Ooooh~ This was delightfully mysterious and just wonderful in general! I loved the paintings and Harry's responses to Severus telling him who he is~ There were just so many wonderful moments for me! As a reward for proving the existence of your solitary brain cell, I won’t even make you wait until you break a bottle. That whole scene had me chuckling madly~ ^___^ And i adored the idea of Buenaventura's lab not having any walls! What a unique room that would be! The switch between first and third person was interesting and just right for this fic. With Harry's inability to remember just who he is it makes sense to not use "I" for himself. I'm sure this is a fic that will keep me thinking long after i've finished it. [8,7,8]
48) The Trial of Henri Blanc - Ahh! Oh my goodness! There is so much about this fic that i absolutely love! Oh~ I don't even know where to start! The idea behind the entire thing is amazing! Its such a unique and interesting idea! To be able to take someone's memories and live their life! I have so much love for your Snape but also for Henri~ And i absolutely hated Harry in the beginning of this~ ha ha~ I was constantly shouting at my computer screen, wondering what Harry thought he was doing! But in the end i just wanted to cradle him and make things better~ When we got information about Henri Blanc it was like a flashback from my summer! I spent a few weeks in France, the start of my trip in Besancon, and i have very fond memories from there. I adored the ending to this, as well~ Snape regaining himself in Grimmauld Place and giving Harry release; his explaining they're unique! And then when Harry found Snape again. My name is Antoine Girard. And Snape's last line. You're forgiven. Perfect! There's so much more i want to add~ This story was amazing and breathtaking and just perfect down to the last detail. It is works like this that make me love my fandom and my ship. ♥[9,9,9]
49) Act of Faith - oh wow~ That was- wow. Such a different AU from most i've read! I must say, i loved the names and Hagrid making an appearance at the end~ I was wondering a bit in the beginning what was up with Isabel, but then her visiting 'Father Tomas' and him calling her 'Bella' had me grinning~ [8,9,8]
50) The Broken Boy - Guh~ Wow. Oh! I- I'm speechless! This was just- amazing! It was so raw and frustrating and just right! I can't hold it against Harry for wanting to forget! What a terrible place the wizarding world would be if this ever happened! I adored how much Severus cared for Harry, especially when it came to the sex scene. It would have been so easy to have turned this story down a completely different path. A lovely fic! Excellent! [9,8,9]
51) When the Soul Goes Hungry - Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I loved this so much and it was such a believable story! Its so easy to think that Harry would find some way to escape the reality the wizarding world has set out for him. I had a nice giggle when Harry first tried the Daydream Charm and was in a dress~ Snape was oh so lovely and the bit with the Order of Merlin just had me grinning! "It was lighter when we shared it." "We will again." Lovely~ [8,8,9]
52) Shades of Grey - Oooo~ A lovely entry! So angsty! I adore ambiguous!Snape and his refusal to let Harry know anything. And I love the idea of pensieves and so any fics containing them just snag my interest from the get go~ Of course, Harry can never learn to keep his nose out of other people's business~ "What is it about you and Pensieves?” “They’re shiny! How could I resist?” This had me laughing hysterically~ It was a nice change to have a fic in the games that was an established relationship for once~ [8,8,8]
53) Upon the Matter Of Britain - Ooo~ I liked the tie in to the legends! And Bush!Merlin had me chuckling a bit~ I really am surprised Snape didn't set it on fire despite everything! There was a bit too much non-Snarry in this fic for me to truely adore it, but it was lovely nonetheless. [8,8,6]
54) (These Are the) Days of Our Lives - Hmmm~ A very interesting AU~ Not something that really sucked me in, but decent. I enjoyed tha fact that Lily was still alive and interacting with Harry. I'd have liked more Snarry in this as the bit at the beginning is all we really got. [6,6,4]
55) All of Those Days - I've been sitting here in silence trying to think of a way to put down in words how this fic moved me. After ten minutes, i'm still speechless. Just- Wow. Amazing! The beginning was so compelling it just sucked me in! I was hooked from the first paragraph. The interactions between Harry and Severus/Shadow were lovely! Everything about this fic was lovely! It's such an eerie, but plausible idea that Harry would be swayed or converted to the side of Darkness and this version of things was so very believable. I love how Harry's affection for Severus grows but isn't ridiculously sappy or obvious. And the way he still calls him Shadow even after learning his real name! >___< ~♥ [8,8,9]
56) Shell Shock - Oh! That last little bit! Just perfect! Ahhhh~ >____< ~♥ This was a lovely fic! I adored Severus and his conversations with Albus~ As well as his interactions with Harry! The sex was wonderfully done and i Harry stumbling over saying Severus was just right! Ahh~ It really is those last lines that bring it all together~ [8,7,8]
57) Doppio - This had me smiling in so many places! A very unique look at the search for the horcruxes! I loved the color coded wall of clues; It's so very Hermione~ And Harry and Severus at the ending was just wonderful! I was thinking earlier about Quidditch. *snorts* That's so very Harry like! Heh heh~ Severus is definitely Harry's golden snitch! ^__^ [7,8,8]
58) The Memory Box - A lovely take on the prompt of King's Cross~ It was rather funny considering i'm now in London~ It was a bit too much non-Snarry but still lovely. The whole Ron/Luna thing kind of bothered me, but whatever~ Soleil was a nice addition however. [7,7,7]
59) Forsaking All Others - Ah! Wonderful! I absolutely loved this! Oh~ Harry and Severus were both just right for me! And the ending! I adored the ending! I'm such a sucker for bonding fics or fics in which Harry and Severus are stuck with one another. Usually i'm all for the accidental version of this, but the purposeful version is just as good~ Gaaah~ I just love the feelings this fic left me with! [8,7,9]
60) Our Sanctuary - I can just see Harry wondering what he'd do after the war ends and he's survived, and this version of that was nice. This fic started out wonderfully and then just seemed to run out of steam and fall back on cliche. The author seemed either very new to writing fanfic or just ran out of ideas after such a lovely opening. [2,5,2]
61) If This Be Error - Gods! This was wonderful! I am dying! There are so many quotable lines in this i couldn't even begin to list them all! I adore how the bond came about (I'm a sucker for accidental/forced bonding fics~) and the wanking-summons! >___< The interactions between Harry and Severus were just lovely! And the sex and and the ending were all just perfect! "Admit it, Snape," Harry said, feeling behind him for the doorknob that was jammed into his kidneys. "We had sex and you liked it." Harry flung open the door to find most of the Order assembled in the corridor, open mouthed and frozen in the midst of their preparations. ^___^ ~♥ [9,9,9]
62) Carnal Knowledge - Amazing! Wonderful! Perfect! *dies of love* This was just- guh~ hot! "Make me want you," he challenged, leaning in to nip at Harry's jaw before licking his way up to Harry's ear. "Make me desperate." *fans herself* I found myself alternately holding my breath in anticipation and laughing at the wonderful snarkyness of Severus! [9,8,9]
63) Can't Take The Sky - Oh! Just- oh! That ending! That ending! Ah~~~ I- *flusters* I'm- speechless! Wow. This was so very heartbreaking and wonderful and so many things all at once! I adored Eileen and her divination~ And Harry and Severus were so lovely and tragic and perfect! I think my heart exploded completely at this: "Sweet?" "Life usually is." "It hurts!" "Yes," Severus said. "Living does." Just- It sums this fic and their story up so well and it pains me that its true. Gah~ A wonderful addition to the games! [9,8,8]
64) The Living Years - Ahh~ This is turning out to be an amazing birthday for me~ It can't get much better than being in London, having some Snarry, and reading a lovely fic by Delta~ I've been waiting for this fic to pop up and I just adored this so much! I love the whole de-aged idea and this was such a wonderful take on it! Most of the fics i've read have eventually returned them to their regular ages or thereabouts through magic but i enjoyed the way that we got to see the two grow older naturally. As well as getting to see the usual Snarry older/younger dynamic turned on its head! This Severus was just wonderful and i want so badly to squeeze this jealous!noble!Harry~ A lovely end to an equally lovely fest! [9,8,9]
