It took a week, but we finally managed to exorcise the Yokai who'd set up a repeating three-hour loop in the Yurokucho Line in Ginza. Thankfully, most of the tourists blamed the delay on equipment malfunction. Only three were spirited away

Hmm. There's my brother, Edward. He's impulsive and kind of loudmouthed, but he's also one of the most dedicated and caring people I've ever met in my life.
Then there's my mom. She can be stern and even a little scary at times, but mostly she's... well, she's just amazing.
Then my dad. He's... well... it's kind of complicated. I don't know what to say about him except... well, he's Dad.
There's also my "adopted" family. There's Winry, who I've been friends with all my life. She's like an older sister. She's obsessed with automail, and she's one of the best automail engineers you'll ever find. She's also an amazing cook. She's very sincere and... well, she's great.
Next would be Sensei, Izumi. She's... kind of scary. But she's like a second mother to me. She's a fantastic martial artist and taught me everything I know about fighting.
There's also Aniki, Kamina. He's very passionate. And he's amazing at motivating people. He can be a bit immature, but when it's something important he really cracks down. He's a force to be reckoned with.
Lastly would be Shou, Manabe. He's REALLY immature, and he likes to bug people. But he's great at cheering me up, and he definitely has his serious moments, rare though they are.
...and I probably went overboard with that.
What is the first thing you notice about people?

Nah. I asked. I've met Manabe and Kamina-san. They seem like good people.
Definitely smiles. I probably notice all around attractiveness, but it's not a conscious thing.
What's the best and worst part about having such an extended family?

The best part is always having someone to go to when you need help. The worst part... I guess it's having so many people to worry about.
Do you prefer scary movies or comedies?
Reply
Yeah. Maybe that's why I stick with SPR. They're my family. Hunh.
Comedies. I see too much scary stuff to like it in movies.

I know what you mean. Though I do enjoy action films even though my life seems like one at times.
Did you have another question for me?

Some scary ones are alright. Most are stupid or hit too close to home. And I can always use a good laugh.
Too tired. I'll still answer or we can shoot the breeze.

I love watching stupid movies, especially really bad martial arts films. They're fun to laugh at.
Shooting the breeze sounds good. I've just about run out of questions anyway.

Dude. I own all the MST3K DVDs. You ever see the chop socky movie about Uncle Monkey? I rented it for 5 yen. Wish to god I'd bought the damn thing.
I can only think of so many before I start sounding like a Cosmo poll.

I love MST3K! It's fantastic. ...Uncle Monkey? I can't say I've ever heard of that one.
Hahaha, exactly!

I'll loan you the DVDs if you want. Oh, god. It was your basic Romeo & Juliet rip-off, only the they get caught. "Romeo" gets killed and the princess is set adrift and lands on an island where she meets a chimpanzee. Who takes care of her. They're quite affectionate.
Hard to remember, I was stoned when I saw this. I made some joke about the princess getting pregnant from the chimp. Everyone laughed 'cause it was impossible. Then lo and behold! She is pregnant--with Romeo's kid. The kid grows up referring to the chimp as "Uncle Monkey." Uncle Monkey is some sort of martial arts guru and teaches the kid all he knows and helps him lead a rebellion when he gets older.
The chimp. Martial arts. Stupidest movie I've ever seen.

That would be great! Thank you!
...wow. That's... interesting. I... want to see that now.
