So I was walking back and every Tuesday there is a peace vigil outside on the Higgins Ave bridge. As I was walking an elderly couple was carrying signs to the spot, and they were on their way to protest the war. It was really nice to see that

Ok so, I threw a party at my place in Manhattan the night before moving back home to Montreal. This woman I didn't know put on a fantastic CD of this Brazilian chick singing in a smooth, sultry voice that was not Gal Costa's. Later on that night I ripped her CD and through an improbable series of events was never able to ask her who the singer was. Only one song on the album has english words. I googled them, and your site was the only thing that popped up.
