So, yeah, I definitely have a lot to work on, so I decided to have an updated list of the projects that I have floating around in this cluttered mind! So, here it is!
My Somewhat Noir Series of Stories
1.) The Fall of Man: I still have the same storyline for this one, but I have however lost both of the sheets of paper that had the bits of the story on it. Now, I only have my poem to go on. Oh well... Characters: Radcliffe, Evelyn, Tracey, Charley, Layla.
2.) Revenge Tale: Charley's pro-revenge story. I only have a page of a notebook on this one, but I want to edit it a whole whole whole lot! I'm not sure where i want it to go, but I know that I definitely need it for a lead-in to Road to Nowhere. Characters: Charley, Radcliffe, Tracey.
3.) Vigilante: The one that I actually started with. I wrote a few pages about a year ago and never got back to it. Surprise suprise. The Cirith Ungol of the stories. It will be finished one day, but here I am a year later with nothing new added! Characters: Tom Riley, Jane, Crucifix, Radcliffe, Gyspy, and many others.
4.) In Death, In Life: Will more than likely be coupled with Sharing Your Pain to create my story of redemption and unavoidable romance. I lost the perfectness of this one in The Great Crash, so it will definitely need to be rebuilt. Characters: Radcliffe, Jane, Charley
5.) Road to Nowhere: My major major loss that needs serious reconstruction. I just need to find the spark I originally had for it. Characters: Julian McCartney, Charley, Radcliffe, Jane.
6.) Ascending the Heavens: This is a very temporary title. In fact, I just made it up right on the spot because I've never titled it. Should be the last of the series probably. And the saddest maybe. Characters: Jane, Thomas Riley, John Radcliffe, Crucifix, Radcliffe
The Sci-Fi of the People
1.) The Mechanical Whirring of a Butterfly's Wings: I got two solid chapters of the this baby about mechanical beings and part of a third one. Might only be three chapters or probably will be four. The end is near. If only I would write the rest. Characters: Jack and Alice.
The Hilarious Ones, Right?
1.) A Survival Guide to the First Year of High School: I hate to say this, but this one is currently abandoned until I figure out what I want from it. I think I have too many characters right now, so it's all screwed up. It's hard to write dialoge for everyone. I don't want it to be too Eliza-centered because she is the character most like me (well her and Abbey), so yeah, I feel bad about that. Characters: Eliza, Grace, Sydney, Misty, Karen, Abbey.
2.) She Writes Smut: Sounds weird, and yeah, it is. My take on censorship and the dirty minds of society. I haven't wrote a word, but I have been planning out what could happen. I actually need to research the pornography in books stuff since there's not too much of that going around anymore since the invention of the Internet. I wrote a little bit and changed the names some, so yeah, progress. Characters: Aussie, Simone Rodriguez, Mel.
3.) Cheating Life: I just invented this one around a week ago, so I don't exactly know what I want to do with it. I want it to have a Garden State feel to it if that makes any sense. I think it might be about a guy that finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him so embarks on a mission to get back at her by cheating on her. Or something like that. And I never did anything with it. Wow, I really need to. Characters: No one has a name yet...
4.) Ordinary World: And this one was invented yesterday while I was at Books-A-Million in Fort Smith, and I saw this crazy family. So, I decided to write something about a somewhat "brainiac" who has lived a sheltered life in seclusion with his crazy family, who now wants him to go out and find a wife (Think Blast From the Past, sort of.), but of course, it doesn't go so smooth. Here's another one I did not for the life of me even start! Characters: Jonathon, Claire (employee of the book store he is always in), and some others.
5.) Modern Day Jo: Here's my response to Louisa May's unfairness to us all!!! I have around seven chapters of this finished, so it was on the move. I feel like I need to write it in the summer. It definitely has a summer feel to it. Characters: Josie, James, Chrissie, Katie, and Taylor
6.) Not the Same: I finally started my Ben Folds references story and got two whole chapters of goodness before I quit. It's another one with a summer feel. I don't think I can write it in the winter unless I can concentrate enough to make me think it's summer. Characters: Allison, Stephen, Penny, Paul, etc.
7.) The Other End of the Line: My Breakfast at Tiffany's send-off. I haven't thought about what I want it to do much, but I had an idea for a couple more chapters and then an ending, but that's it. I do love the quirkiness, though! Characters: Heather, Charlie, some other dude, Mother, Brother.
The Horror of Them All
1.) Blood Forsaken: Not sure if I want this name yet. It might be too generic. But until then, this is what it is. I redid the whole storyline and I've involved more characters and flashbacks ala Lost. I feel good about this one if I get back to work on it. It could be good if I don't hit a brick wall, and if I study up on Vampire Lore. Characters: Jolene, Jacob, Katie, Van Guard, "Angel"
2.) Blood Moon: A sequel to The Vampire Hunter. Yes, I know that I'm not done with the first one, but I've already moved further with the story in my mind. Jolene goes to work with a group of vampire hunters or something along those lines. It also of course involves the rising of the blood moon and the darkness that eternally covers the earth. Characters: Jolene, Jacob, Caleb, "Angel"
3.) Blood Destiny: The finale of the Blood trilogy!!! It doesn't take much to figure out where it's going to go by the title, but yeah, Caine finally shows up!!! Characters: Jolene, Caine, etc.
3.) Following Me: My psychological thriller that I started working on after watching an episode of Paranoia Agent. It won't necessarily follow the same storyline, but yeah, I want it to be creepy to the point of skin crawling. Characters: Flaherty, Miriam, others
Fantasy, Maybe or Maybe Not?
1.) The Big Fantasy Epic That Won't Ever Be as Good as LOTR: I don't think I'll ever write this. At least soon anyways. I've been playing around with the ideas in my head for years, but I don't know if I want to write fantasy. If I did, then it would involve demons and other things.It will probably be a series of stories, but until I decide, it will just be this. Characters: Aylana, Rylyn, Arthur, and a dark-fire demon that I haven't really given a name yet.
2.) Ivy: I don't have a title for this, but this is the main characters name. It's a story of kidnapping, demon fighting, learning to love someone you hate, blah blah blah, this is the first of the series. Characters: Ivy, and nameless people
3.) Rylyn: Once again no title except for the name, which I absolutely despise. Anyways, this is Rylyn's story: imprisonment, slavery, romance, abandonment, disownment, fighting back, emptiness, duty, The Works.
The Others That I Keep Talking About
1.) Jinchuu: My crazy Kill-Bill-ish revenge epic that is currently abandoned even though I had five pages going. Not sure what I want from it right now, but if I ever get back to it, it will involve crazy ninjas that work at restaurants and the like. Characters: Kagure, Shinji, and others.
2.) The Bounty Hunter Chronicles: Man, my first and my currently abandoned. I've decided that I'm going to go back and rewrite the darn thing after I finished up on some others (Which probably wont' be soon, alright?) I'm not sure where it fits into the Noir storyline, but it does share a character right now, so it's in there somewhere. Characters: Linda Starr, Julian McCartney, John Maxwell
3.) Love Unrequited: Yeah, I'm going to go there...and it's not going to be pretty. I don't want to write about myself, but I need to purge a lot of demons. Still not sure on the title.
4.) That Unspeakable That: Something I started not too long ago, and I should finish soon if I would just open up the document and finish it. I'm afraid it's clunky, whatever that means. Anyways, it should be finished soon. Characters: Ruby and James (but I want a name change there).
And I think that is it for now...I'm sure there is more stirring around in my head. Gosh, I have a lot of knife-work I need to be doing...
