Electrify
I once wondered how lightening worked. Lightening makes life dangerous. What could be more dangerous than a large bolt of lightening shooting by your face? I have always managed to maintain a large portion of common sense. Of course I would never mean to do something stupid like going outside with a conductor in my hand and try to see how long I could sit there before the lightening shocked me. I mean who does that? I remember walking to the window and looking at that monstrous storm strike near me. My mind became consumed by the fear and utter shock of the storm. Though the lightening scared me, I loved feeling that thrill. I loved the feeling of not controlling my own destiny.
My friend Edward called and asked if I wanted to come over his house. Of course I wanted to go over. I mean the kid still had electricity. Who would turn down electricity without having any themselves? I decided to go over, but before I could make this journey I would first have to get past the lightening. I got onto my bike, put on my helmet, and made the journey to his house. As I rode my bike, the lightening became fiercer. I only had a couple more blocks until I got to his house. Peddle after peddle, I kept riding through blocks. The rain shot at my eyes with the speed of a bullet. I could hear myself panting over the rain. Just then the thunder bolted and the sky flashed. I looked up at the sky and a large chain of electricity soared through the sky.
