SLEEEEEEP…and New Years Eve!
Okay, so apparently all I do as a pregnant woman is sleep and eat. At least that's what it feels like. We had the girls this weekend and I slept part of Saturday and part of Sunday. I slept through parts of three Bronco games this season while at home. I felt like I slept through one of them while I was THERE at the stadium. Alas…I should not complain. It is just odd, me, a sleep machine. I guess I'm making up for lost time. ;)
So…its NEW YEARS EVE!! We didn't end up with the girls this year, even though it's our year. Ayanna is going to spend it with her best friend Lana (which brings to mind my 14 year old NYE in which I smoked weed for the first time at Sarah Fidler's house in Lakewood), and Kyla's mom Julie is having a party at her house with friends and family, so Kyla is going to be there for that.
So…Arno agreed to go downtown with me! Since some of my energy has resumed as I am now in the second trimester (I am about to walk out the door for my 16 week check-up at 4pm), I feel like him and I should take advantage of not having a baby in the house and go downtown for dinner at fireworks! Sadly, the forcast is for 7 degrees tonight, so we might go to the 9pm fireworks show on 16th Street Mall and then our dinner is at 9:30 at the Red Square. I am excited, after all these years I finally get to try that restaurant out. I hope its good. :)
