I had a nice evening yesterday. While work seemed to be never ending (I only work the hours of 12 to 5 on Sundays), it dragged and dragged, but a nice gesture was sent my way: Without going into specifics, I was given a $50.00 Bonefish Grill giftcard! :) What a day brightener!
So when I FINALLY got off work, which was late (just before 6pm), I went to Bonefish to eat and to visit Jackie on her first night back at work in three weeks. I had a Florida Cobb Salad, and got Arno a salad to go. It was nice. Afterward I went home and sorted out my CD collection (which happens quite often, I know). I had drank quite a bit of coffee as well, so I was buzzing all over the place, almost uncomfortably so. So I went to Mr. Biggs/Fat City/Fun Plex (whatever they're calling it this week) to play DDR for an hour. It was really fun and I felt really good and sweaty afterward. :)
I drove home, stopped by Jackie's house, and ended up picking up Cruise and going to the hot tub after hours, me with Kirin and him with Budweiser. We relaxed for just a while and were joined by some 6 kids who don't live here. They were just hottubbing around the neighborhood and were really nice and funny. Cruise and I just sat and chatted with them.
After we were done at about 12 midnight, I went home and Letters from Iwo Jima was on AMC. It was dubbed in English, which I didn't like, but I got over it and watched part of it. I had succumbed to a horrible headache earlier in the evening and it returned just as I was trying to unwind and go to sleep. Instead, Jason and I BB Messengered each other for a while and then I read some more of King of Torts before finally drifting off to a very restless sleep.
Today work has been crazy, but I get the next two days off in a row, which should be nice for a change. My mom arrives Tuesday late evening.
I also got the information that I will ONLY be getting an extra $308 from my financial aid for this semester so I must budget shop my books. :( Also, I've been starting to look at Graduate schools online. Wouldn't it be great to go to Brown or Yale? *wiggles eyebrows*
