I Haven't Bussed In Almost A Decade!

Tonight at work was a different experience. I ended up taking a bussing shift, which is something I haven't done in...probably nine years, since I worked at Armadillo. Anyway, the shift was really fun and I busted my ass and soaked in some of my coworkers compliments like "You should bus all the time." It made me smile and I was glad to shine in comparison to our other QUOTEUNQUOTE bussers.

I'm working on getting promoted at work. Since this mess with Legacy Partners fell apart (the company that spent six weeks of my wasted time interviewing me and jerking me around for a position I wasn't offered) I haven't had motivation to find a "real" day job. So I talked to Sagrillo for a minute last night after my serving shift and asked if there's anything I can do administrative-wise during the day for the company. I really do love working for Bonefish Grill, I just wish I was paid more (or at least had the opportunity to work more hours, since my wages are pretty stellar for what time I do spend there).

In other news...I've spent a lot of time thinking lately. I'm also going sober for a month, which has only been three days so far and let me tell you...thinking about having a drink has been hell. Staying away from alcohol has not been hell. It continuously amazes me how inundated our culture is with alcohol. It's going to be hard to stay sober this whole time, but I think it will be an amazing lesson not only in willpower, but also in growing up.

I can't think of much else to talk about right now, other than bitching about the situation with Jason and Becky, which I'm trying NOT to do...so I'll avoid.

I'm moving at the end of July. Any suggestions on something safe and cheap? I mean like, 500 or less a month?
