Community
So, is anyone else on my Flist a fan of the TV show Community? I have only just started getting into it and I absolutely love it already. It kinda reminds me a little bit of the Scrubs style humor...just with a community-college setting.
Jeff is a fantastic character (you know, in that completely snarky, grumpy House-kinda-way). And Annie is simply adorable!
But thus far one of my absolute favs has to be Abed. That guys cracks me up!
Check out these two scenes from Community...
This one takes place during the Halloween episode. Abed dresses up as Batman and actually seems to think that he is Batman. When Pierce winds up building a desk-fort (during a bad trip), he and Jeff are nearly crushed in the fall! -- but luckily Abed!Batman is there to save them.
He must then proceed to monologue about it in Dark Knight fashion... LOL
Then in this scene, Abed & Troy are trying to find their rat, Fievel - and in order to do so, they sing "Somewhere Out There" to it...and actually do a surprisingly remarkable job of it! I love the Celtic-flair they threw in there and the change of meter. It had me grinning the entire way through!
To anyone on my Flist that is looking for a new show to watch that doesn't require alot of time or thought (*cough*LOST*cough*) I recommend Community.
