respite
It's a sunny afternoon, light catching on Hakyeon's bare shoulder blades, where Wonshik brushes his nose gently to, leaving a moist kiss on occasion. Mostly he likes the warmth as he's pressed against Hakyeon, the fire crackling between their bodies. It's exhilarating, makes him feel alive, nerve endings tingly and restless. Hakyeon's reedy laughter makes it to his ears and he laughs, too. They aren't laughing about anything in particular, maybe Hakyeon was tickled, Wonshik doesn't know, but he chuckles along nevertheless, the wonderful noise making his heart swell with satisfaction. That's all he wants: to make Hakyeon happy, to have him smile so largely his face can't contain it, to have him giggle almost girlishly and completely endearingly, to have him roll on the floor in a fit of delighted snickers. There are butterflies bubbling in his stomach as Hakyeon shifts a little and peeks at him, one eye open and temptingly pink lips curled up in a shy smile, cheeks tinged cerise. He's so beautiful it makes his breath catch for a second, and then Hakyeon calls his name, whispers it really, a prominent affectionate vein in the tone he uses and Wonshik feels like he can breathe again, air soaked up into his lungs. He hums, elated at the pure intimacy they are sharing and urges Hakyeon on wordlessly, his own lips tilted in a curious smile. "You're heavy." Hakyeon says, unabashed, direct and Wonshik almost sputters, instant worry seeping into him. "Oh, am I? I should-" He doesn't finish the sentence for he makes a clumsy roll of his body, nails ragging lightly across Hakyeon's lower back as he free-falls. The descent is so rapid Hakyeon barely has time to blink. Silence for a moment. A pained groan. And then airy, full, effervescent laughter and fingers carding through his hair gently. "Dumb," it spills from Hakyeon's lips, and Wonshik doesn't even feel the mild pain in his backside anymore. Hot kisses definitely make up for it later.
