Sound Venture Remembered
It's been just over a month since Sound Venture was put to sleep. Although she was not our horse, both Jennifer and I had developed a strong bond with her when we visisted the barn where we board Bubbles. 'Venture used to lick my hair when I fed her. ( i think that meant I had been adopted) She developed a severe case of Colic and dislocated her bowel. To end her suffering she was put down. If she had lived she would have been the mother of our next horse....
