Random political aside
Can I just say how much I hate reading a rational conservative thread and then having it derailed by people talking about revolution?
For Christ's sake - who in the hell would ever WANT a revolution? Have you not looked at the world around you? Revolutions (at least the kind implied, with guns and such) are bloody, messy things that can destroy entire generations. I don't know about you, but things would have to get pretty damn bad before I'd think to myself "yup yup, time to send my country into anarchy." As in, no food or water bad. Especially since I LIVE IN A COUNTRY DESIGNED TO PEACEFULLY CHANGE THE REGIME EVERY ELECTION.
I'm normally pretty cynical about both sides. (All the liberals now talking about how awful the tea partiers are behaving - yeah, I remember you behaving just as badly under bush. Hate and hypocricy is ugly no matter who does it.) But I will give the liberal side a point here - while they talked about impeaching bush or even assassinating him and his crew, I never once heard a liberal talk about destroying the whole fucking union.
And then they wonder how they end up on some homeland security watchlist.
