Yes. It's an old holiday that humans have celebrated for thousands of years. It celebrates the birth of a prophet of God. Originally, I believe, the day was celebrated as the winter solstice. But that's the extent of my knowledge on the holiday.

Gifts are exchanged as a tradition. Friend and family togetherness are celebrated as well. It's an all around cozy time of the year.
